The way it is supposed to hang on a door is why chewy suggested this to me. But it’s the same way that the hanging other cat toys work. The downward V shaped hanging system just means it slides down the door. And I don’t even understand how this is supposed to work. For my Cats to reach the treat area. the bottom hanging diversion is across the floor by a foot. it Doesn’t work. Then when you try and put the treats in, it’s sealed at the bottom so my cats can’t get the treats out. Like this whole thing makes no sense.

Amusing and engaging for food motivated cats

All of our 3 cats were interested in the bottom toy initially (1 year olds and 7 year old). One of 1 yo cats is especially food motivated and she played with it until she got it down to a science. It can be a little particular (it doesn't drop treats every time they hit/pull the toy which deterred two of our cats) but I would say it's definitely important to put a lot of relatively small treats in for the best experience. It was a lot of fun for us to watch her but the other two cats only hovered nearby, so I would say this is best for very food-motivated cats. We also experimented with different heights to vary the difficulty and even added a spring toy at the bottom to increase interest for the others!

Great for very playful cats!

I bought this for my adult (but very playful) cat. He enjoys it, once he figured it out! I attached it to the doorframe, but it would attach to a variety of places

I bought this for my adult (but very playful) cat. He enjoys it, once he figured it out! I attached it to the doorframe, but it would attach to a variety of places. You do have to apply some degree of force/ pull to pull down the string that releases the treat, which is why I said very playful cats. It would hold a large amount and variety of treats/ cat food as well. He enjoyed it, and I would recommend this.

Fun idea but lacking in execution

I was excited to try this toy. It looked like a fun way to entertain my cats. Unfortunately, they don't care for it much. One cat was scared away every time he batted at the bee and it made the hive rattle with the treats in it. The other one just wanted to chew on the string, so I couldn't leave it out with her unsupervised. It works well enough for my male cat if I'm holding onto the hive so it doesn't swing and rattle while he plays with the bee, but overall, it doesn't really work as intended for my cats.

Busy as a bee playing

While the toy is fun for the cat to play with, it’s not very convenient to have to hang it in a door frame for it to work. The door can’t be shut with it up so it has to be put up and taken down, which is kind of a pain. The toy itself is cute and Boots enjoyed playing with it, batting the feather around and was able to get treats.

Good but not great...

This was a great concept and my cats were originally interested in swatting the bee around but that interest quickly wore off (like most cat toys). Unfortunately,

This was a great concept and my cats were originally interested in swatting the bee around but that interest quickly wore off (like most cat toys). Unfortunately, the design for dispensing the treats could use improvement since they rarely come out when the cats pull on the bee. The hanging system could use improvement as well.

Very entertaining cat toy!

My cats love this toy whether it has treats in it or not. It’s very quick and easy to set up and use. It’s pretty cute too. It’s definitely one of their top favorite

Toy to swat around and get treats

I hung the toy in a door between our kitchen and TV room. I have 4 cats and after 5 days my youngest cat started to play with it. She has only played a few times

I hung the toy in a door between our kitchen and TV room. I have 4 cats and after 5 days my youngest cat started to play with it. She has only played a few times not to get treats out but to swat it around. None of my other cats have looked at it.

Cute idea, but the cats weren't super interested.

Cute idea, but our cats weren't huge fans. If they got playing with it, the treats could really swing and they didn't see them to realize the point of the toy...and it could feed an awful lot of treats. They found the bug deal fun, but the feathers didn't last long.
