This roll refill only works with the Litter Genie Easy Roll pail.

Are the poop bags biodegradable?

The manufacturer has stated the following about this product – “The Litter Genie bags are not biodegradable. The advantage of Litter Genie bags is to seal the odor, a characteristic that is not yet available with biodegradable bags. The manufacturer is aware of this situation and are working to find a solution. However, the Litter Genie refill cartridge is recyclable. Each state has different rules for what they take as curbside pickup, so please check your local regulations”

Is the box for the roll refill plastic or cardboard?

Refills not as good as original.

The quality of the refills seems to be different than the original roll that came with the Litter Genie. The one that came with it had the more translucent blue

The quality of the refills seems to be different than the original roll that came with the Litter Genie. The one that came with it had the more translucent blue and these refills were the more solid blue version. The solid blue does not hold up as well as the more translucent style, causing the bag to fall and spill dirty litter and waste to spill all over the inside, which is impossible to clean. The litter & waste also endez up inside the roll package due to how it sits in there. That was a real bummer, especially because it happened at the very start of the new roll. The bag not being tight enough to hold up well and slipping out of place means you burn through bags at a much higher rate to avoid risking the litter/waste spillage. After it slips off, you end up with a half full waste bag. The solid blue material may be okay for the original styles of Litter Genie, but it is awful for use in the roller-style pals.

We had to buy this product when we could no longer buy Litter Champ supplies. This product was supposed to work with our newly purchased Litter Genie system but

We had to buy this product when we could no longer buy Litter Champ supplies. This product was supposed to work with our newly purchased Litter Genie system but it doesn't fit. There is no place to secure the replacement roll on the system we had to buy so we have to use this 10" at a time. It is a problem. Because there is no place to secure the plastic, it frequently falls when waste matter is added.

Too Small for my Cat Genie

These don't fit inside my Cat Genie. They are too small. I have to stretch the top of the bag to at least have it go over the top edges to hold under the top flap

Love the convenience

Wish it were bigger. I have 4 kittens. Using two of these, and have to empty it every night. Great product. Better used by someone with 1 or 2 cats.

Rip way too easily

These bags aren’t very sturdy. They rip open easily. Especially if they are left outside in the winter and the plastic freezes. I have to double bag these. I put

I put them in a plastic grocery bag to throw out in garbage can outside. A couple times the bags ripped open and I’ve had litter all over my driveway. Gross. The only reason I’m giving them three stars is because they are convenient when used in the litter Genie.

The hooks for the bag could be a bit more substantial. It is hard to hook the bag on and keep it there. In addition, the bags could be bigger. They need to be changed
