I wanted to save money so instead of replacing our scoop with the more expensive one like we have already, I purchased this one. Bad mistake. The handle on this one isn't ergonomic, the shovel part isn't weighted to help with scooping power, and it just feels flimsy. Even more important, the sifting portion of this scoop has rough burrs and jagged spots which will cause the used litter to cling rather than fall through the holes. I guess you get what you pay for!

I found this scoop easy to use. It holds a large amount of litter. The smaller holes prevents clumps from falling through, though it does cause clumping litter to cake up onto the scoop requiring cleaning often. It's a good size, especially if you're scooping for multiple cats, but not too big to make it odd to hold. It has a plastic handle, though i wish it was silicone.

i mean anything beats the flimsy plastic ones. i was going thru those real quick in a 3 kitty household. its super durable and not heavy. the rubberish handle is nice too. the only thing holding back that 5 star rating is the holes could be a bit smaller so it catches the teensy pieces that happen sometimes.

I really like this - i will order another for my upstairs litter box. It is able to scoop away the big clumps my larger kitty produces. my old scooper was unable to lift her clumped piles as well and sometimes bent due to being plastic. This one has a nice edge for scraping the bottom of the pan - so it cleans better. good purchase.
