This toy should be taken down by Chewy. It is a chocking hazard. The tail comes off quickly. Our cat ingested it and had to have emergency care. We are still monitoring the cat days later waiting for him to hopefully poop it out. If it does not, he will need surgery. It happened very quickly. Please do not purchase this for your cat. I pray this does not become a fatal situation.

These toys are absolutely adorable! Two of my three cats are obsessed with any kind of toy. I threw this one on the floor and they sniffed it and batted at it a little bit. I tossed it in the cat room so that my dogs would not get a hold of it and tear it up. Only time will tell if they will play with it or not. My only concern is that it feels like the same type of material fishing lures are made from. I'm afraid if my cats chew on it at all, pieces will break off. Also because of the material it's made out of, it collects a lot of lint and hair. This is why I only gave it four out of five stars. They are really cute though and if my cats don't play with it I can always use it as a fishing lure!

My cats are personally not interested in this toy at all. It may work for other cats but my cats like plush toys and ball toys better. It is made out of roughly the same kind of plastic as a fishing lure and that's honestly what it looks like. It does collect a lot of hair and lint from the floor. If you have cats that like to chew on their toys, I would probably not recommend this because I feel pieces could break off of it. It's probably a great product for someone else else's cats, but not mine.
