DEADLY TOY! DO NOT BUY / PLEASE THROW AWAY !

There have been many reports of cats going to the emergency vet and even dying from this toy. The string is extremely weak and you cannot leave your cat unsupervised

Please throw away if you already have it or do not buy if you’re considering. It’s just not worth it even if it’s their favorite :(

Not sturdy

My kitty is a biter and he LOVES string. He really enjoyed the spider want and was having so much fun but the string IMMEDIATELY broke two minutes into playing :(

He really enjoyed the spider want and was having so much fun but the string IMMEDIATELY broke two minutes into playing :( he was smart enough not to swallow the plastic bits but I was really disappointed with how quickly it came apart. I’m almost tempted to buy another one because he loved the spider part

I have tried literally every wand toy out there for my overweight cat. The only one she ever liked was “da bird” but because the attachments shed everywhere after one play session, I stopped buying them. I’m surprised to say that she actually LOVES this spider wand toy as much as she likes da bird. It’s very realistic the way it moves and although the string looked flimsy when I first bought it, it’s actually not at all and has held up for over 2 weeks now after playing with it every night. I cannot recommend this toy enough especially for overweight kitties that need exercise and are bored!

My cat loved this toy for the hour it lasted. He immediately broke the string by chewing on it and had spider legs chewed off minutes later. The texture is so fun

Dangerous

The spider is small enough to choke my kitten. I don’t ever let my cats play with toys unsupervised and thank goodness, my kitten became obsessed with the spider

The spider is small enough to choke my kitten. I don’t ever let my cats play with toys unsupervised and thank goodness, my kitten became obsessed with the spider and sunk his teeth into the body which got stuck in his mouth. Luckily we were able to get it out. They should not make prey toys this small.

But as long as it's running away from him he can't get enough of it and once he catches it he will carry it off in his mouth purring.
