Some birds will destroy a new mineral block within minutes, while others will avoid it all together. Polly’s Pet Products Manu Mineral Bird Perch helps solve both problems! When your feathered friend roosts on the perch, he will naturally rub his beak along the mineral infused wood. Once he gets a taste for the delicious flavor, he’ll want to chew through the perch to get to the core, which contains nine essential minerals that replicate the exact ones located in the banks of the Manu River in South America and Peru! Now your beaked buddy can relax on his perch while getting the vital nutrients he needs.

My Double Yellow Headed Amazons love this perch. They avoided it for about 2 days and ever since have been using it and chewing on it. I'm glad that at least they are getting 9 minerals as they chew. Super cute and exotic looking.
She likes this new addition to her cage. And look how cute she is!
I don’t want to say it’s bad because I don’t know. But my eclectus Parrot won’t touch it. His cage isn’t over crowded so I can’t say it’s that. He’s very territorial over his domain so if he didn’t like it... it’d be ripped out and at the bottom and he hasn’t done that. So maybe he just hasn’t gotten to it yet.
I purchased 6 large mineral perches for my 6 parrots, they like them, but I only have 2 minor problems, washers are too small for large parrot cages, and they disintegrate too quickly, one parrot has already destroyed half of his, much too pricey for such a short time, they have had them only 2 days in cages. Should last longer. 1-10 a 7
