My Labradoodle's life-saving medication was easy to order and quickly filled by the pharmacy. However, Chewy's current carrier: OnTrac Ground shamelessly left our package at the end of our driveway near the road where someone could have stolen it. The delivery person didn't care to drive up our driveway to get out and walk to our front door to safely deliver the small box. The driver was either too lazy or in too much of a hurry. A pet's medication is too important to risk getting stolen. I hope Chewy finds a more dependable carrier.

Poor Delivery with OnTrac

Prednisone is a required drug for our dog with Addison but it is not an easy drug for a dog because the normal side effects include increased thirst and hunger,

Prednisone is a required drug for our dog with Addison but it is not an easy drug for a dog because the normal side effects include increased thirst and hunger, increased urination and bowel movements, dry skin and panting. I would not encourage you to give your dog this medicine for curable problems like allergies.

Thank you chewy for being so prompt in both confirming and delivering Violet’s prescription! My 4 yr old Airedale Terrier, Violet has Addison's Disease and has to take prednisone daily: Her life depends on it. I shopped around and, as always, chewy had the best price for Miss Violet’s prednisone. Which of course means a little more jingle for Violet and her brother to spend on treats and toys. The representative was professional and sympathetic when I told her that I needed to cancel my senior dogs medicine subscription bc he had just passed. Days later, I received a gift box with a painted rock with Bear’s name and a sweet card. I was in tears. This is such a kind gesture that Chewy does and I am a customer for life. The rep was very compassionate and also helpful in stopping future deliveries of his meds and expediting the pred that I spaced on ordering for my other dog after such an emotional week. Bloodwork shows marked improvement in just 2 weeks!

The previous pharmacy used by our vet only had 5 mg tablets of this medication. Our little 4 pounder didn’t need nearly that much so the tablets were quartered

The previous pharmacy used by our vet only had 5 mg tablets of this medication. Our little 4 pounder didn’t need nearly that much so the tablets were quartered. The pieces were not uniform and they crumbled. Her albumin went up and down. Then I learned that Chewy had 1 mg tablets. Oh happy day! After just 2 weeks on the Chewy tablets her albumin increased from 2.9 to 3.4. This is huge! Vet lowered her dosage. Thank you, Chewy.

Chewy has saved us so much money on prescriptions for my baby. He had Addison disease and unfortunately passed away on October 15 due to total renal failure. I called to asked about if we could returned the last order, the box wasn't even open. The lady in customer Service refunded our card and was so kind when I told her my baby had passed away. Then a week later a received a flower arrangement. It was from Chewy sending their love and condolences. I will always remember their kindness and I highly recommend them for all your pet needs. They truly care for your baby like a family member. Thank you Chewy
