All Pork Chomps are made in Vietnam. The plant is a state-of-the-art facility that is GFSI certified. The GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) certification ensures that the processing and handling meet the same standards as human food production. As a final measure of quality safety, each batch of Pork Chomps is tested prior to packaging. Scott Pet's goal in securing the GFSI certification was to provide consumer confidence in Pork Chomps quality and safety.

Great for boredom, anxiety, teething...

I've used this product for all our dogs for several years. They're great for strong chewers -although our last, very analytical thinker could dismantle one down

I've used this product for all our dogs for several years. They're great for strong chewers -although our last, very analytical thinker could dismantle one down to its parts in about three minutes-- then he'd chew up the components individually. But they can keep a normal strong-jawed dog busy for a good, long time. Supervision is important, as eager bulldogs enjoy trying to swallow big pieces early on. Historically, we've had no mishaps, but vigilance and intervention have paid off with some frequency. Happily, our Bruno likes to work in smaller bites-- but we still stay close by. Anyway: he loves 'em, we love 'em, and I'll continue ordering.

I have trouble finding long-lasting chews. My 2 German Shorthaired Pointers (55 and 75 lbs) went through these pretty quickly.

Rawhide is also a harder product and once a sharpiece got lodged in her gum and caused a bad expensive dental infection on a 4th of July weekend! 2 years ago we switched to this particular pork comp product at the vets advice..Lower price then my club store too!
