What is the fish that is used for the fish oil?

Primal Raw bags labeled “fish oil” contain anchovy oil that meets all of their quality, testing, and nutritional standards and provides the same taste and nutritional adequacy you expect from Primal. They use a clean, cold-pressed oil containing the anchovy's fats, not the proteins. True fish allergies are the body’s reaction to the proteins in the fish, so clean-pressed oils are not a problem for most fish-allergic pets.

My Pom usually eats Primal freeze dried Nuggets. Bought Pronto for variety. These are same freeze dried raw food, but in small cubes. Hydrate w water and she really enjoys them for a change-- more chewy than the hydrated nuggets pieces. Also less handling of raw food for me. She really enjoys these, too. Win Win!! Will continue to feed both nuggets and pronto.

So much money on expensive dog foods. This is something that we stock up on to make sure she has what she needs. This can be as a topper. We make some chicken breast and vegetables and we will Put this on top or she can eat it alone.

I’ve wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, as my dogs love this and the price is much more reasonable, but the lack of quality has been consistent at this point and it’s inedible for my small dogs to chew. Disappointed.
