What type of deer is used for this recipe and where does Purina source the venison from? Due to the entire white-tailed deer population being an endless host reservoir for the SARS-CoV-2 and its variants, it is extremely important to verify venison is guaranteed not taken from infected meat sources.

I can't imagine that purina hires people to go out and hunt for wild deer so they can make their products. There are deer farms throughout the country, and just like other farms, there are regulations in place to ensure diseased livestock are not being processed for food supply. It is no different than beef or chicken as far as things like disease control go.

Why is this food listed as all life stage when it is a adult maintenance formula?

The delivery was confusing; it was initially said to be out for delivery, but later in the day, it was switched to 'still in transit'. Had to call Chewy to find out which was correct. Thankfully, I got it the next day. However, this bag of food was extremely disappointing as I am about a 1/4 through the bag and still no real meat pieces as there should be. I have been feeding my dogs this food faithfully and never had an issue until this bag.

One of my dogs has allergies. Vet recommended this as a not-too- pricey food for her that would serve the same purpose as the higher end foods. Not only are her allergies now under control, she asks for her dog food. That is not something she does. Fur looks good, weight is good, poo looks fabulous and is easy to clean up. Thanks, Purina, for a food my dogs enjoy and thanks, Chewy, for delivering it. My furfamily and I appreciate it.

My 3 year old Golden is such a picky eater and has sometimes gone for 2 days without eating anything. I’ve tried numerous different dry foods and have always had to add SOMETHING just to get him to eat. My son offered to let him try a scoop of his dog’s food and he gobbled it up. It was Purina One True Instinct High Protein Turkey and Venison. I ordered a bag and he absolutely loves it! No more stress worrying if he’s going to eat or not.

My 9 year old dog came to us with a very sensitive stomach so had been eating a more expensive brand of kibble for 7 years that didn’t cause bowel issues. Since he is older now and going through changes, we decided to slowly switch to this brand and see what happens. Instantly he became interested in eating his food again! Over the course of 1 year, he has become much more active and seems to be having a happier life. I wholeheartedly recommend this food

I’ve been buying Purina One since I got my first puppy and had no issues, until now. Recently I noticed my dog is dropping pieces on the floor around her dish. She won’t eat them. Upon further inspection, they seem to be made out of paper! They are the very light colored pieces. I’ve also noticed in this last bag that there is a lot more of them. I’ve reached out to Purina but have not heard back. I can’t be paying this much for food my dog will only eat half of! Time to start looking for an alternative!

They have and you have been told over and over that the packages from chewy have to beput on the porch Because the animals will get into them and tear them apart, besides which the boxes were all wet because they just dropped them into a puddle soI’ve got one and a half bags of dog food instead of two bags of dog food look out.
