My diabetic cat with rotten teeth and gingivitis has to eat canned food watered down and loves this food. Its soft, shredded with gravy and with a little more water, he eats it all right up in one sitting. Its heavy enough on his belly to last him a little while before he begs to eat again. Its not a bad price either compared to many others. They love the Purine One brand.
My kitty usually goes for her dry food first. Tried these and she LOVES them and can't wait! I was buying the other Purina wet food in 3-oz cans--organic, gravy, some with carrot/spinach, etc. I don't know what it is about these "True Instinct" foods but she just absolutely loves it--no little crumbs left in her bowl. Bought 3 more cases just now.
I really don't like this wet food, and it's also not as good as others. I needed some wet food for my cats and I thought I would try a new brand, definitely wish I didn't. My cats don't like it and I wish I had just bought something else, if you're needing a brand that's similar in cost to try Fancy feast they literally have a 12 pack of cans for around the same price. Definitely not buying this brand again
Unfortunately, this food gave my cat pretty severe diarrhea. I think it may be too protein rich. Now we are trying a limited ingredient food to try and balance him out. He’s fine with all the other Purina One products, so I thought this would be ok, but nope. I would not recommend if your cat has any digestive sensitivity .
None of my 4 cats would eatthis. The "meat" was shredded. Theyeat other brands with shredded meat. They licked this but most of the shreds went all over the floor.
This is my cat's favorite food. I adopted a stray and want him to gain weight. He had some sore teeth and the texture of this food may be what appeals to him. Before and after getting his teeth pulled this is his favorite food. And that is high praise
My 2 cats gave this True Instinct a sniff and walked away. One cat returned later sniffed it again and tried to cover it up.
I've been feeding them the One dry so I thought they might like the canned. You never know with these 2 but Bingo, got a winner,,,!
My cats love this brand dry kitten food so I thought I’d try this wet food. Unfortunately they won’t eat it. It sits in the bowl until it hardens and I toss it out. Not sure what the problem is, but they don’t even want to try it.
We switches to this food for the real meat, wanting to feed our cats healthier food. Our cats act like they enjoy meal times.
