The vast majority of ingredients used in Purina products are sourced here in the U.S. Like other food companies, they do source a limited amount of ingredients from other countries. These ingredients are primarily essential nutrients, such as taurine and B vitamins that are not commonly available in the U.S. in the quantities needed and are sourced in China.

The damage to the container and the horrific smell

I am extremely disappointed in my last Autoship order which arrived August 6. The smell from the box was horrific. Although the outer box was not damaged in the

I am extremely disappointed in my last Autoship order which arrived August 6. The smell from the box was horrific. Although the outer box was not damaged in the least, the plastic wrapped box of Purina Pro Plan Senior 11+ Chicken and Beef Entree was damaged and leaking. The leakage got all over the other contents in the box: cat litter, Science Diet Metabolic dry cat food bag, Churu container, and Purina Pro Plan Classic 11+ Salmon and Tuna entree container. I had to scrub the smell out of the other containers and it took at least two days for the smell to leave the house. I immediately took the damaged wet cat food outside and will not feed it to my senior cats. I would like a refund for the Purina Pro Plan Senior 11+ Chicken and Beef entree immediately. I can return the product - at your expense - to Chewy. Photos attached.

I had purchased Purina Pro Plan for another senior kitty in the past. Knowing how well he liked it, I ordered some for Sheba. She devours it & wants more. I’m so pleased her appetite has returned. Sheba has CKD & had begun to refuse the prescription diet offerings. She wasn’t selective, she rejected all brands. I feel this food is nutritious & suitable for aging kitties with picky palettes.
