My girl cat has been pulling her fur off All 4 legs for 2 yrs now. I've been the vet 4 times a year for allergy shot. And she just came of medicine from vet . She was getting daily.Bought the collars incase it was stress related from thunderstorms because she hid under bed or even comforter. So, I tried this brand with sensitive skin, stomach . Her hair is back, she nice and trim. She was a 30 lb cat. 2 throw up total in a month. Before every day because she was pulling her hair out and eating some also. Any way my cat daughter is feeling good, looking more beautiful then ever, and more friendly also .
I think the food is perfectly fine. I just can’t get my female cat to eat it. She has been having some difficulty with her stomach. Somedays she hardly eats anything. Nonetheless, she would prefer that I never serve this food to her again. I have tried several tricks to get her interested in it (including sprinkling freeze dried chicken over it) but I have failed. My male cat will eat it if he has no alternative, but you can tell he is not happy about the Tuna and Oat Meal Entree. If my female cat would eat it, my male cat would enjoy it much more. He will eat just about anything, but he only really enjoys what my female cat eats!
We usually purchase the Duck Grain Free for my cat, who has a very sensitive stomach. It was out of stock so I purchased this instead. My cat is back to vomiting on a daily basis. He seems to like it but it doesn't agree with him. Wish Chewy could keep the duck grain free in stock!
My cat has a very sensitive stomach and this food did not upset it at all. She doesn't love the taste but will still eat it when it is down for her. It helps to regulate her stools so that she doesn't have diarrhea.
I got this for my cat Grayson, but he won't eat it. So I gave it to my cat Zorro who has skin issues and he gobbles it right up. He has stopped scratching and his for is growing back!
Has taken 5 months to find a food that agrees with this kitty's sensitive stomach. She likes the tuna, duck and chicken flavors. She also eats the dry chicken, which is an accomplishment, as she has refused all dry food until trying this brand.
While our cats enjoy both the duck and char, they are enjoying this new flavor that we introduced them to. I look forward to even more flavors of this line. After all, people want variety in their meals; cats do too. One of our cats started turning his nose up at the char because he got it so often. I'm just happy that our cats are no longer getting sick every day.
I can speak to how it tasted but it smelled like fish. My kitty gobbled it down!
For my two cats with sensitive tummies, tuna and oat meal is their favorite flavor. No barfing, no litter box issues, and they enthusiastically dig in! Runner up is the Arctic Char from this same line for sensitive skin and stomachs. (And I give them a little of the dry kibble from this line, too, in the lamb and rice variety so it isn’t always fish; although one of my cats won’t eat dry food at all, the one who will likes it.) There is a chicken flavor of this line which I haven’t found here, and they also approve of that flavor on occasion.
My cats love to eat and none of them would touch this.
