My very fussy senior kitty loves this food!
Our 14 1/2 year old cat is very fussy about her food, including the texture. I wanted to give her food made specifically for older cats and decided to try Purina Pro Plan Prime 7+ as Purina is one of the few brands that follows all of WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) guidelines for nutrition. So far, she LOVES the Chicken & Beef, Chicken and Turkey & Giblets. She will not eat salmon or shrimp, so I haven’t tried those varieties. She is still pretty active (for a cat, LOL), and leaps onto our bed easily as she sleeps with us, plays with her toys and follows us around to get some affection (which we give her in abundance). She even still teases our 2 dogs on occasion in proper kitty fashion :)
They all love it!
We have 5 rescues of varying ages. Our oldest girl needs to lose a little weight. Our Vet recommended starting her on a senior diet to see if that will do the trick. She loves the food. She prefers that we mix a little water with it, but everyone else thinks it's great right out of the can! She hasn't been on it long enough to know if she will drop enough weight, but I'm glad we found something they can all eat.
My cat eats this without any issues.
As my cat got older, she developed digestion issues. The foods for sensitive stomach did not help her. Purina's foods for senior cats seems to have helped. She is not vomiting almost daily, and she has gotten her appetite back and has put weight back on.
Good Service
I recently discovered Purina Pro Plan cat food and ordered 2 cases of my cats favorite flavor. Like so many other things, it has become difficult to find. The package arrived this morning, as promised. The cases were packed very well and there was no damage. I am very satisfied
Not for senior cats
My cats enjoy the chicken and beef classic entree for adults 11+. They completely rejected this version, which I bought because the other Pro Plan variety continues to be out of stock.
Why is this no longer available?
My cat LOVES this food, but it seems it is no longer available. WHY? There seems to be a dramatic shortage of food for senior cats, so I don't know where to get what my cat LOVES. She would just inhale this and the Focus for senior cats 11+.

Prime Plus for adult cats 7+ age
My two fur boys like the "Pro Plan Prime Plus" from Purina as a TREAT only, as a regular day meal not so much. I'm sure that other fur babies may love the food as a daily meal and only need the small cans a day but when you have two that want to eat twice a day the little cans run out way to fast!!
Waiting for Purina 11+
Still waiting for the Purina Pro Plan Chicken/Beef 11+ Classic Wet to be in stock. We had to sub 7+. Our Elsie is eating it but we would like to get this 17-year-old girl back on her diet.
