Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets El Elemental Dry Dog Food, 6-lb bag

Just happened to look at my email before leaving and saw my large bag of food had been delivered. Looked everywhere and couldn't find a delivery. Finally found my $130 bag of prescription dog food. Thrown out in my driveway (after large amount of rain) behind large vehicles. No way you could have seen it when getting in and backing up ti leave. I had received no tracking number for this order. Chewy customer service informed me they only have contact thru "chat service" with this off the wall place they have delivering items. If that's the kind of service they have now, I don't want it.

Clara was itchy, had “yeasty” ears and paws, red and flaky skin so the veterinarian suggested removing chicken from her diet. That helped but not enough, she was still scratching. The doctor changed her diet to the El Elemental dog food and we saw a change in her behavior within a few days with much less scratching and head shaking. She also started eating regularly. She has gained 3 pounds in a month and her fur is shiny. One problem though, she has become a little bit constipated. We cut out all other foods (bananas,watermelon apples etc) will reintroduce after completely healthy. So we need the can version of this food to replace the moisture/liquid she is missing in her diet. We love love love how this is working out for our girl, but will be over the moon if we can find the can/wet food to go with it. Absolutely would recommend it!!

I was hoping this would be the solution I was looking for. My French bulldog is the sweeties lil guy, but has been a very unfortunate in finding the right kibble recipe. He has environmental & chicken allergies; it seems as if he continues to develop other intolerance to other proteins. Due to gastrointestinal issues, home-cooked meals have not been successful either. I was thrilled to encounter this formula after much research. To my surprise, the kibble out the bag feel like rubber. I attempted to bite into a kibble to get a better idea of its consistency and texture, but was unsuccessful. In addition to the odd texture, they are pretty large for my medium size dog. Chopping them up has seemed impossible, using a small food processor. My only alternative was to soak them for hours until they became more pliable. Once they soaked up the water overnight, they had a similar look to corn poops cereal with a rubbery slimy texture.
