If you're looking for a slow feeder for your fast-gulping, over-eating, do-anything-for-food pup, I highly recommend this one. Despite the automated info, I bought the bowl with the light green insert. I wish I could mix-and-match features, because due to past experience, I strongly suspected that that the green 'waves' would challenge my dog more than the purple radial-grid, but I wish I could have swapped to get the three-part spinner to go with it. We've tried several different slow feeders, and this slows down my lab the most, far and away. If I put down his food in a plain, deep bowl, he can finish his food in the time it takes me to turn around. In a poor slow-feeder, it takes him a little longer; in a decent slow-feeder, it takes him twice as long as in a plain bowl. In this slow feeder, he takes about 3-5x as long.

Awesome Slow Feeders!

Love these feeders! We had to get slow feeders for our dog, but she was figuring out the easier levels pretty quickly. These have been fantastic at slowing down

Love these feeders! We had to get slow feeders for our dog, but she was figuring out the easier levels pretty quickly. These have been fantastic at slowing down her eating amd are a good size for a 60lb dog. The purple insert was easier for her than the blue one, so we bought a second blue insert to use with both the 2- and 3-prong spinners. The spinners can be thrown in the freezer with some dry food for extra enrichment. Plus, everything is dishwasher safe.

The best slow feeders with options

I love these bowls, and everything about them. They are made from plant-based plastic which is a big plus, and you can take out the inserts and the spinning pieces

I love these bowls, and everything about them. They are made from plant-based plastic which is a big plus, and you can take out the inserts and the spinning pieces and change them around. I have 3 and change them around and swap pieces all the time to make dinner last longer or to make it easier depending on what I need. Highly recommended. They are the best thing I jhave found for a long time!

Used twice and done

Disappointed bc I had high hopes for this bowl. My dog will not eat out of this and I tried for two weeks without the top spinning part bc it was too hard for her

Disappointed bc I had high hopes for this bowl. My dog will not eat out of this and I tried for two weeks without the top spinning part bc it was too hard for her to comprehend. But when I popped it back on, she just wouldn’t go for it. She kept coming up to me and wanting me to help her eat. After 3 weeks, I was done “torturing” my dog by giving her food in a bowl she didn’t want to use. The design is really good, though. Unfortunately, my girl just didn’t want to deal with it :(
