Most cats eat many times during the course of a single day. A recommended feeding schedule for an Adult cat is to offer half the daily amount for breakfast and another half for dinner. Vary the amount fed according to age, size and activity level of your pet. Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should have food available throughout the day, so split their total daily amount into several meals. The total daily amount for kittens is approximately 1 - 2 . For lactating females, the amount varies with the number of kittens, but is approximately 1 - 3 1/2 .
Because Rachael Ray Nutrish may offer different ingredients than your cat is used to, it may take up to 10 days for your cat's system to become acclimated to Nutrish. Slowly mix with his other food over a five- to ten day period until your cat is solely eating Nutrish.

wonderful for my cats
By Niffer on Jan 13, 2021
I have many cats and all have different health issues. Ranging from Bladder stones that nearly killed my one and overweight, vomiting, loose stools. Trying to juggle foods was insane. I tried no grain. Dry. Canned. One was even to be on vet formula. I have found the chicken with rice helped all. Weight leveled out on all the cats. Overweight lost and underweight gained. Vomiting just hairballs now which is wonderful, tells you how bad it had been. Stools balanced out. No more diarrhea. Fur glistens. Shedding is low and most are long haired. Doesn’t mean I don’t have some issues now and then but that is nature. Please don’t change the formula. I’ll cry. Thank you

Not for my cats
By stumpy on Jan 19, 2021
I thought by the looks and ingredients of this cat food that my cats would love this but they will not eat it! They smell it and most walk away. I have 2 housecats that won't touch it and my outside cats will not eat it either. Guess won't be purchasing this brand.

new formula
By disappointed on Dec 30, 2020
Cat loves this food and it was the only thing I could find that did not have fish! They changed the recipe and now my cat that is allergic to fish can’t have this. So sick of finding a cat food only to have them change the formula and cat starts breaking out again.

Senior cat approved
By Gretyl on Nov 25, 2020
I have a senior cat that is picky and eats every two hours. She wouldn't eat dry food until she tried Nutrish! It's healthy food that's made in the USA, and the cost is fair. I love that the food is small, so it's easy for her to eat. It's been a nice addition to her canned food because it offers variety. She's maintaining her weight on this food, when she was previously loosing weight.

Finally a dry food that doesn’t make our cat yak
By Annabelle on Nov 8, 2020
I hope I’m not jinxing this but ever since we switched our cat to this dry food a couple weeks ago, he hasn’t thrown up once. Before this, he would throw up about once a week. Also, he actually thoroughly enjoys this dry food too - usually he would just eat dry food while waiting for us to feed him his wet food, but we catch him walking over to eat this dry food randomly throughout the day because he likes it! Hopefully he doesn’t gain too much weight though...

Healthy for cats
By CatfriendlyUuser on Oct 9, 2020
Since Rachael Ray's cat food contains 0 byproducts in its ingredients, this will benefit your cat's overall health when you buy it. I've been buying this food for my cat for nearly a year now, thats why i get the 14lb bag.. My cat has shown healthy behaviors ever since. She has not thrown up, or gotten sick at all since she's been eating it. Plus she loves it! I would definitely recommend. I just do not like that its cost me $20 to buy the food itself, plus 6.50 for shipping and handling plus tax. Definitely not a "budget friendly" price .

Best for the Price

Perfect balance of budget and quality nutrition. Kibble is also the perfect size for almost any cat.

What a waste.
By Rippedopen on Nov 10, 2020
One of our bags of Rachel Ray dry food was obviously ripped open prior to packaging. Probably a third of a 14 lb bag was spilled out in the box and then all over my kitchen floor. What a waste.

Rachel Ray
By Candycoop on Dec 2, 2020
Very good dry food. My cats love it. Since switching to Rachel Ray their fur is softer and thicker. It's shinier. They seem to be happier cats.
