I'm not sure how well this works in what food but it definitely does not work with dry food. It falls all to the bottom of the bowl. In addition, when I opened the package, I was disappointed even though there was a moisture packet inside. There was many lumps that I had to break down and powder was getting all over. When someone also mentioned the date that they got this item I just looked at my bag and although I just got it recently, it expires in 2 months which is not much time to use this product. It was recommended in a group that I try this product for my cat's loose stools that nothing has worked for 3 and 1/2 years but I'm disappointed that I did try it!

Heart medications caused our senior kitty to have diarrhea. She was losing so much weight because all of her food came out too soon to absorb any nutrients. We had tried probiotics & veterinary prescribed oral medications, anything to firm up her stools. It was basically water and she had become so lethargic. We were extremely worried. She's been on this pumpkin powder for 1 full week, and day-by-day her poop got firmer. Now her poo is almost exactly that of a normal cat and she's regained her energy. We give her 1 scoop in the morning & 1 scoop at night. And she doesn't even mind the flavor at all; she even likes it! We will be giving it to our senior doggy next!

I love that this pumpkin powder is organic and does not contain any other ingredients. I use it as a fiber source for my ferrets. My one complaint is price. I was ordering a different pumpkin powder that was 16oz and came in a nice metal tin container. This pumpkin is 8oz, $22 and in a flimsy bag.

I’ve given my dogs pumpkin purée for years to improve gut health. This is the first I’ve seen pumpkin powder. Easy to use, nice dual measuring scoop included, dogs eat it with no complaints. Cats too. Just one issue the packaging: the instructions say “wash hands after handling”. I can guess a number of reasons why, but because it is not explained and it makes me uneasy feeding it to my pets. No issues with the product itself, would recommend.

This pumpkin power has a fabulous smell to it. I have been using it for my dog Princess, she has some soft bowl movements sometimes very lose and she seemed to have trouble finishing her business, or so she thought she wasnt done. Since I've been using the Pumpkin Powder she hasn't been having those issues. No problems with soft, or not thinking she is done. She does her business and comes happily trotting back with what I swear is a smile. I think i am going to start putting it in 2 of my cats canned food also and see if they experience the same positive results.
