A miracle!!
By Morgan on Jan 6, 2021
Our dog has severe separation anxiety. We tried everything under the sun to help. We decided to try this medication recommended by his vet. Best thing we have ever done. He is exactly himself - just without his severe destructive behavior when we leave him home alone. This truly has made such a positive impact in our dog and our family!!

Not too sure

My pup suffers from some serious seperation anxiety. We rescued her when she was a year old and have had her for about 3 1/2 years now. We could leave her for 10 minutes and you would think we left her for 10 years. She has destroyed numerous sets of blinds, chewed a hole in our front door, destroyed a dog pin in every which way possible, does not like a crate. She does not like to be alone. And she doesn't really care for other dogs, so we can't get her a friend. Anyway, we have tried everything to get her to calm her nerves. We even did training with her as well as have a dog training in our close family who comes over often and trains her. The doctor finally prescribed this to us. We started on the 32mg but changed it to the 64 mg when things were not changing. I honestly still don't see much of a difference, but maybe a tiny bit. I think we just adopted the one dog in the world that has the be the most difficult. She is so lucky that we love her so much! … more

The miracle we needed for our cat
By Rae507 on Aug 26, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
One of our cats has severe separation anxiety, which also involves spraying. It's been frustrating to deal with, he was so incredibly unhappy all the time, and behavioral modification was getting us nowhere. Our vet prescribed fluoxetine, but the liquid medication made him extremely nauseous and the human generic had no effect. Out of desperation, I asked if we could try Reconcile, off-label since it is cleared only for dogs. Our vet agreed as it is the same active ingredient. Wow!! It has made all the difference! The pills are tiny and don't taste bad, so his daily med is a breeze - I can pop it in his mouth without any fight and he swallows willingly. I am so glad this medication exists! … more

Amazing results!

this prescription has really helped my three cats. They are much calmer and haven't been fighting anymore. They also seem to have stopped peeing in the house, which was likely caused by their anxiety.

Separation Anxiety Cure!
By Reconcile on Jul 28, 2020
My 5 month old puppy was suffering extensively from separation anxiety. She barked nonstop and would get diarrhea whenever I wasn't home. It was a problem since I had neighbors. My vet recommended reconcile because she has patients who she prescribed it to and I was willing to try it out. After 2-3 weeks of using it, Daisy no longer barks or cries when I leave. She is usually sleeping or just walking around (I have a camera that notifies me of what she is doing). FYI--Around the 2 week mark, Daisy began having a decreased appetite (a side effect that informs you it is kicking in). It lasted about 1-2 weeks and now she is back to her normal self. Reconcile Review
By Rachel on Apr 29, 2020
We rescued a sick, abused puppy and got her physically healthy. With the help of reconcile, we got her emotionally healthy too! We were really struggling with the separation anxiety and tried EVERYTHING before we asked our veterinarian for medications to help. She recommended Reconcile because that's what her dog is taking daily too. We are so thankful!

Really works
By Godzgypsie on Jun 11, 2020
I have a very neurotic dog who survived a massive house fire, the loss of his brother of 9 years and my son leaving for the navy. This medication has stopped his neurosis and allows him to act like a normal and happy dog.

Must have medication
By Lindat on Apr 20, 2020
Recently my veterinary behaviorist closed during the quarantine. That left me scrambling to get reconcile for my dog. This is a drug that you cant miss a dose. My veterinarian didn't carry it. I ordered it through Chewey and they got approval from my vet. However their backup was running ten days. I finally reached a supervisor and explained my situation and he moved my order to the front to go out the next day. I will forever be grateful for this. It was easy to reach the reps and they were friendly and eager to help. Thank you so much!!
