Apoquel Stops Allergic Itch Right at the Source

If your dog is scratching, licking or chewing like crazy, you want to provide relief that starts acting quickly. Apoquel Chewable effectively controls allergic itch within 24 hours [2].

Approved for Short-Term and Long-Term Use

Apoquel Chewable can be used for long-term maintenance or short-term therapy [3,4].

Prescribed for Over 15 Million Dogs  and Counting[5]

Apoquel Tablets are #1 in pet owner and vet satisfaction for oral medications
for allergic itch in dogs [*6,7].

About Apoquel

Apoquel is a revolutionary oral medication for dogs with allergic itch. It works differently than other medications by going right to the source to stop the underlying cause of itch in dogs with skin allergies [6]. Apoquel is offered as either a tablet or chewable formulation with a veterinarian's prescription. Talk to your vet about what's best for your dog.

Important Safety Information

See full Prescribing Information. Do not use Apoquel Chewable in dogs less than 12 months of age or those with serious infections. Apoquel Chewable may increase the chances of developing serious infections, and may cause existing parasitic skin infestations or pre-existing cancers to get worse. Consider the risks and benefits of treatment in dogs with a history of recurrence of these conditions.  New neoplastic conditions (benign and malignant) were observed in clinical studies and post-approval.  Apoquel Chewable has not been tested in dogs receiving some medications including some commonly used to treat skin conditions such as corticosteroids and cyclosporines. Do not use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. Most common side effects are vomiting and diarrhea. Apoquel Chewable has been used safely with many common medications including parasiticides, antibiotics and vaccines.

INDICATIONS: Control of pruritus (itching) associated with allergic dermatitis and control of atopic dermatitis in dogs at least 12 months of age.

My dog has had terrible allergies with her feet and they were bleeding and scabby and just awful! Her poor belly was beet red and scabby and I’ve had her to vet so many times I’m quite overwhelmed. They’ve always said it was food but this vet believes it’s environmental. I’ve had her on Apoquel forever and don’t see that it’s helpful but vet changed her to non-chewable. I’ve got to put boots on her when we go outside but they’re too big so I will let vet look at that. She has been on antibiotics and a spray for staph and is wearing a cone. Vet said to give her 9 Benadryl per day as well. Her and I are in this together. My third pittie and she was a rescue. I’m thankful I am able to take care of her with so many issues!!

It's only been a little while I'd give it to him it seems to work but it doesn't solve the problem he still scratching so we have to go further than the bandage but it does help with his scratching so hard that he bleeds at least I can catch him scratching and he doesn't do it as often it does numb I guess the itching so far it's okay we'll see if it continues to work because I know he can't stay on it

Good price and works great!

Our pittie had terrible itchy skin to the point where she was scratching herself raw and had constant scabs on the tips of her ears. Since starting Apoquel there

Our pittie had terrible itchy skin to the point where she was scratching herself raw and had constant scabs on the tips of her ears. Since starting Apoquel there has been a notable difference! The only other effective treatment we've found are cytopoint injections which cost 3x as much.

Works pretty. Peanut butter masks taste

Max is a mixed breed, high energy pup. It was evident from the start off his rescue that he had a sensitive nature, stomach and skin. He was having lots of hot spots in the groin area and under his front legs. The vet prescribed this medication, a special soap, and a foam to combat the problem. Over a month, the hot spots disappeared. Clearly this guy has a sensitive stomach and skin so I feed him wet and dry food and add a little water organic rice for these issues too. The biggest problem was getting him to swallow the pill. Then I remembered how much he loves be peanut better. Swathed in organic peanut butter, the pill is no longer an issue.

Not as effective as ones from vet

My vet prescribed these for my dog who is experiencing extreme allergies. We were given a 30 day prescription and the effect was immediate. For the next 30 days it was if I had a new dog. You could touch him anywhere on his body to give him scratches without sending him into a scratching fit. I was elated at the results. I decided to continue using this prescription and re-ordered through chewy. Since we’ve been using what is supposed to be the exact same prescription the results that we did receive from the vet prescription are not the same results were receiving from the prescription filled through chewy. I’m not sure if they’re using generic offbrand or what’s going on but the results are not the same .

First time we ever tried, no one told me how strongly flavored/scented they were. We had them in child safety cap back of counter. Our lab got whiff of them, counter surfed and ate all 90 chewable apoquel. No where did anything warn me these are so attractive to pets. He's survived 2 1/2 weeks, 2 episodes of hospital stays. I won't ever take chance of buying any meds from online pharmacy again. It took4 times to order thru Chewy as I had to switch to mail in prescription but they kept sending to vet office after I told them 3 times my vet practice no longer woukd approve and online requests. All in all, nothing but regret for me . Only reason I tried chewable apoquel was because of Chewy 40% off. Ive never had problem with my lab surfing the counter for pills. In fact, not even food in past 8 yrs....no warning from Chewy pharmacist I spoke directly to, or in box of pills.

I ordered this med for my old girl, Olive, on Dec 23rd - my vet approved it asap but Chewy failed to get the meds to me until Jan 3rd. My previous experience was so good, but this one has definitely turned me off from Chewy. I am very, very disappointed.
