Almost, please make it smaller

The ingredients are less than to be desired but the nutritional analysis is just right for my little fur baby. It is unfortunate that the treat itself is so big. Only one large treat per day for my sweetie and that means I am required to break the bone into pieces. This is a painstaking process and less to be desired. I recently discovered another brand that is a smaller size so I'm going to give that a try. I think it was Purina. *Tried to add a photo but the website malfunctioned. Photo showed the small broken pieces that took me over an hour to break apart and a container of the messy powered after math.

Thank goodness for a hydrolyzed treat with relatively low fat!

My little scotty girl Piccalina recently suffered a flare of pancreatitis that also caused IBD and high liver values. After an ER visit, internal med visit and a nutritional consult she was feeling absolutely saddened when her fur siblings could still have their bedtime snack but nothing for her! Fortunately the nutritionist was able to recommend this product and she eagerly waits for her snack and love them!

Did the recipe change?

I just opened a fresh bag this morning I just got from yall in the last month or so and they are much lighter in color? Then I gave it to my puppy and he didn't want to take it, then left it on the rug for a while before he ate half and left half behind. it's all very unlike him...he LOVED the Hills treats from like 2 mobths ago yesterday!??

Too hard to chew

Three dogs like the taste. But the treats are so hard that neither small nor larger dogs can chew them. All three walked away. But when, with a lot of elbow grease, these were smashed into tiny bits, then they ate them. Too much trouble. A shame, since my dogs have digestive problems and these would have been perfect if the dogs could chew them.

Finally a treat my Dog will eat!

My dog is on a RX hydrolyzed protein diet and cannot eat all the available treats that other dogs can. He does not like Royal Canin's RX hydrolyzed treats and I won't feed him the RX Purina hydrolyzed treats because they use the preservative TBHQ instead of mixed tocopherols. I hope he continues to like them. He is a finicky eater

YumYums for the Win

My dog was put on the Hills Derm Complete Diet a couple weeks ago, so of course I had to get him his special treats and I’m soooo happy my picky man loves these! Luka used to take a small variety of treats, but can be known to be picky !! He gobbles these right up with no hesitation, and gets them as recommended. Would definitely tell the world about these if your pup is sensitive.

Hills I/D saved me dog’s life!

My Greyhound was diagnosed with irritable bowel disease (IBD) and over the years has had several very serious bouts of pancreatitis that left me wondering if he was going to recover. My vet recommended I/D at the onset of my pup’s diagnosis. We thought it might be a short term solution. But each time we tried to VERY SLOWLY wean him off of I/D, once we reached near to full potency of a new kibble, my pup got extremely sick again. So for the past 6 years he’s been happily on I/D wet food, kibble and treats. And he loves them all. My Greyhound couldn’t not have survived without it.

Hypo treats - gentle on stomach

My lab loves these treats. Although they are small for a larger breed, she is absolutely crazy for these hypo treats. Sometimes she gets so excited she doesn't even chew it and it just goes down the hatch. I have had no problems with these treats (whole or chewed) and I do not mind paying the extra money to keep my dog's stomach happy and healthy. Great for dogs with sensitive stomach issues!

Thank you for having HypoTreats again

My dog Redbud loves HypoTreats and they have been impossible to buy! Thank you so very much for being the first to restock them when they became available and for emailing me that you had them!! These are Redbud’s favorite treats and she has food allergies!! You are awesome!!

5 stars for product 1 star for online chat

My dog loves these treats and since he has allergies he is limited as to what he can eat. Chewy is always quick at getting vet approval when needed and shipping. Seems to be misrouted or lost in shipping which I understand is not Chewy's fault. However the online chat is disappointing...seems to take forever to get a response and an unsatisfactory response at that. I can't just run to the store to get this product plus I had to order more to get free shipping. I don't think waiting 48 hours for an update is satifactory....
