Is it ok to use with a dog in the house?

Generally, lavender is safe for dogs and may have a soothing effect on them as well. However, it is better to make sure that the dog is not in the room with the diffuser all day and can leave the room whenever it wants to (just in case it has an allergy or an individual reaction to some component of the liquid).

is there supposed to be a red light on when you plug it in?
