Thick

It is a thick pasty cream but it does work well on dry skin, my dog had surgery and the scar was very itchy and dry, this really helped, my other has a sore patch/

Does not absorb

This balm does not absorb into the skin and instead sits on top of the fur and coagulates making it hard to clean off. I bought it for a dog that has hair loss

This balm does not absorb into the skin and instead sits on top of the fur and coagulates making it hard to clean off. I bought it for a dog that has hair loss and itchy bald patches because of Cushing's disease and it did not help.

Excellent Skin Softening

This product is expensive but works great on dry patches, elbows, etc., of our older dog. No stink, soft and soothing for our old pup. Highly recommend
