A no for my cats

I had high hopes for this since it looks just like fresh chicken off the bone. Sadly neither of my cats would eat it. They licked the broth off and left the chicken

Reveal Chicken in broth number one

Squirt my two year old cat and Lily my 11 month old kitten loves the chicken in broth. I have to give it to them separately otherwise Lily won’t get any even though

Squirt my two year old cat and Lily my 11 month old kitten loves the chicken in broth. I have to give it to them separately otherwise Lily won’t get any even though I give each a pouch. Even though they will eat the tuna or any of the other fish they seem to prefer the chicken in broth. I saw where other cat owners said that their cats didn’t like the chicken in gravy. I think they need to try different varieties to find out which ones their cats like the best. They might be surprised.

Weird gel substance in can; can’t won’t eat

Skip the gravy ones with this brand!

None of our cats would touch this. Even our cat that eats anything, refused to eat this food. We had to donate the case to the local shelter.

Celery & Thyme?!

First of all, the cans are even smaller than I realized- thought they were the "typical" small cans of 3oz. This food has overall excellent ingredients, but I am

First of all, the cans are even smaller than I realized- thought they were the "typical" small cans of 3oz. This food has overall excellent ingredients, but I am not sure why dried celery and thyme is included. Presumably they are not to provide nutrients as this is not a nutritionally balanced complete feed. If it is for flavor or aroma, that is a fail in my cat's opinion, as she really dislikes this food evidently because of those ingredients. She has happily eaten shredded chicken in gravy canned food from other brands in the past. She took one whiff and about bolted away the first time I offered this one to her. After a few tries, I gently smeared a bit of the gravy near her mouth, which she was aghast about...but then did tentatively taste the food, so I believe this is predominantly about the aroma (which I think smells like chicken noodle soup...ie I smell the celery, smells good to me but not to her!). She eventually ate it unenthusiastically, and since then she has been eating it "okay" but she clearly does not love this food...she takes a whiff, can almost see her cringe, then she remembers and begins to nibble and then settles in to eat it. I rotate flavors and brands, so luckily she does not have to eat this constantly or I am sure she would rebel, but 24 tiny cans of stuff she is not fond of seems to be taking painstakingly slow to get through. I will not be getting this food again since my cat clearly does not like the scent of celery and/or thyme.
