About Royal Canin

Give Your Lab the Food They Deserve

Nutrition created for your pure breed Labrador Retriever. Whether you have a Yellow Lab, Chocolate Lab, or Black Lab, this exclusive breed-specific diet is uniquely formulated with specific nutrients to help them thrive.

Immune System Support

Helps support your puppy’s natural defenses with an exclusive complex of antioxidants including vitamin E.

Healthy Growth & Weight

Precise mineral content to support bone and joint development and a balanced energy intake for healthy weight gain.

Digestive Health

Formulated with high quality protein and prebiotics to support digestive health and a balanced intestinal flora.

Exclusive Kibble Design

Helps to slow the rate of ingestion and encourage the Labrador to chew his food.

Your Pet’s Health is a Lifelong Journey

No matter what age they are, Labs are loyal champions that love to run, swim, and fetch. Although active, they also tend to overeat and gulp down their food. They can benefit from the right diet to support their large builds and help maintain a healthy weight, especially for sporting dogs, which may be prone to bone and joint issues.

Mix it Up with Dry and Wet Food

With a dry and wet feeding routine, the mechanical tooth brushing action of the crunchy kibble helps reduce tartar formation while moist wet food supports healthy hydration. Follow feeding guidelines to determine how much to feed your pet.

Pets, People, Planet

Royal Canin is rooted in putting cats and dogs first, focusing on pet health & wellbeing, quality & food safety, and sustainability for pets, people and the planet.

About Royal Canin

What’s the best Royal Canine for border collie puppies.

Answer by RachelRJul 22, 2023
Royal Canin Medium Breed puppy

How big are these pieces of kibble? I want to be able to deduct a portion from daily allowance to use as training treats, but I’m not sure if the size will work for that.

Answer by ChewyJun 14, 2021
I have included a picture of the kibble size below for your reference.

My 15 week lab is having diarrhea. Our vet recommended this food, is it known to help with this?

Answer by ChewyJan 17, 2018
This food helps support digestive health and helps to maintain a balanced intestinal flora.

I have a 13mon old Lab who is already on adult food from another company. We would like to transition him to Royal Canin. Do we try the Puppy formula with him only having two months left before the 15mon age limit? Or go ahead and start with the adult formula since he’s already on an adult kibble?

Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2019
It is recommended by the manufacturer to feed this puppy variety until 15 months of age.

Puppy loved it

Great food used up to 10 mis. Then switched to Honest Kitchen. The same as my other labradors. I also add a little raw as topper( small batch beef)

good food

Love Royal Canin and Chewy. Just don't like that the bag isn't vacuum sealed by the time it gets to me. Like it is at the pet store.

Allergic

Our chocolate lab was eating the food and doing okay, we thought. I kept saying we had the most chill lab on the planet as she was not super active. Then she started losing clumps of hair....her chest, stomach and rear end ending up bald! The vet thought it was from swimming. After a round of antibiotics and steriods, she refused this food. We changed foods and she is a new dog. She is not the most chill dog!! Unfortunately, I would stay away from this for your lab puppy.

It’s always been a good brand even at my job.

This was the food she came home with and doesn’t seem to irritate her stomach so I keep her on this and Hills wet and goes well for her! :)

Will never use another brand again!

I am not a new dog owner, but this food has never disappointed me. It’s always fresh, looks wonderful and not burnt like most brands, and my pup absolutely loves

I am not a new dog owner, but this food has never disappointed me. It’s always fresh, looks wonderful and not burnt like most brands, and my pup absolutely loves the flavor, texture, and the crunch! His coat is still puppy soft, shiny, and his bowel movements are consistent and very healthy. The price is daunting, but if you’re on the fence about it - DO IT!

Yummy.

Even our older dog is obsessed with this food. I’m constantly shooing her away. Dogs love it.

Great Dog Food

My dog, Hershey loves this dog food. He now has firm stools and a good, shiny coat. He is strong, happy and healthy!
