We just started with a new vet. Our previous vet suggested we adopt a grain free diet for Buddy because he was scooting, and everything else looked OK, so he thought Buddy had an allergy to grain. Since then, grain free allergies have been tied to heart issues, so when our new vet suggested we try a new food with grain for Buddy and suggested Royal Canin Sensitive Skin, we were happy to try it. While it's not cheap, Buddy seems to enjoy it and hasn't scooted, so maybe his issue was more of a skin issue than a grain issue. At any rate, if switching to Royal Canin Sensitive Skin Care add years to Buddy's life, it will have been well worth it.

Plain ingredients but dogs love the taste

I bought a small bag of Royal Canin sensitive skin for my very allergic dog since this doesn't contain meat proteins because she's very allergic to all meat protein

I bought a small bag of Royal Canin sensitive skin for my very allergic dog since this doesn't contain meat proteins because she's very allergic to all meat protein. She liked the food and her stomach tolerated it pretty well- no gastro issues. After 6 days I had to quit feeding it to her because she had a skin reaction to it but it wasn't the product itself only that she couldn't tolerate an ingredient in it. Im giving the rest of it to my other dog, she's enjoying it very much. So its a good product but didn't work for my allergic dog. But I recommend it for maybe dogs with less severe food allergies. It has a pleasant smell to it and my dogs did seem to enjoy the flavor of it.

My dog LOVES this stuff

I switched from beniful, which my dog has been eating for years. She doesn't eat much, usually eats slow. I'd fill her bowl, and it will sit there for a while.

I switched from beniful, which my dog has been eating for years. She doesn't eat much, usually eats slow. I'd fill her bowl, and it will sit there for a while.. I switched to royal canine, and didn't expect a big change... but from her first bowl, I noticed that she immediately eats her food.. I mean..she will eat her food and THEN look for crumbs lol. Instead of looking for anything and everything else first. So..WOW.. And, we a full bag in (already ordered more) and she still loves it. So, I love it!
