Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

Easy to order, reasonable price.
We have been feeding our Bichon Frise, Daisy Mae, cans of Royal Canin for dogs, sensitive skin. She was suffering from a blistering rash throughout her chest and belly -- all of which is now clear.
Product does a great job helping with dogs sensitive skin issues. They love the product. Only frustrating part is the poor quality of the cans. Pull tabs break off without opening the cans.
Excellent safety record. For people who don't understand, by products are extremely important for the health and nutrition of dogs. I understand as humans that we think its gross, but in the wild, nothing goes to waste and that includes the organ meats. My extremely picky Goldendoodle will eat this food and almost nothing else. (If you have a standard Poodle ir a Goldendoodle then you understand). I got tired of wasting money on other brands she wouldn't eat. Also, she has a collagen disorder called Ehlers-Danlos in the human world, and her skin tears very easy. I feel like this food has helped minimize her skin damage! Someone asked about the gel on top of the food when you open it. This is from the bones and full of collagen. Please please please do not discard it. It's part of what helps the dogs skin! It's the same stuff they make gelatin with and those expensive Vital Proteins collagen powders out of and extremely good for the dog. I mix it in with the entire can so the dog gets some with every meal I feed.
I bought this for the first time and I'm just not sure if the 'sauce' they mention should look like this. The food and texture is very soft if you have a dog that cannot chew for any reason. My dogs seemed to like it okay and ate it, but I was a little grossed out by the appearance of the sauce on top. It appeared in every can, so I think it's normal, just gross.
I was feeding my GSD RC Mature Adult wet food but it made him gassy plus his skin was dry. Switched to this and no more gas, skin is no longer flakey and he likes it better.
This was recommended by my vet for my older mixed breed, medium size dog. It’s the only food I’ll feed her now and she loved it right away. Her skin and coat are soft and shiny after starting her on this brand.
I bought the wet food for the sake of being able to crush up medication and have her ingest pills without a fight (would spit a pill out even in a pill pocket). I was nervous wet food would affect her bowel movements, but it has probably helped her have better ones, in fact, and that wasn't even the hope in giving her wet food. I mix it w/ her Royal Canin dry kibble. She loves it. I can't really speak to the sensitive skin part bc she is currently on meds for skin allergies. But she loves the wet mixed w/ the dry & it has given her healthier BMs.
We bought this to supplement our West Highland white terrier‘s royal Canin dry dog food. They like it very much and looking forward to their coats being even nicer
Cricket has indoor allergies. As a result her skin is often inflamed and her ears have lost hair. I was looking for a food that would help improve both her skin and coat. I did a slow switch as recommended, and I noticed right away that she was super gassy. Her belly creaked and squeaked and rolled. She tooted an awful lot (oh my, so stinky!). She did digest it very well, but her output was awfully stinky. Since she is a very devoted lap sitter, I couldn’t take the odiferous gassy output for very long. I ended up trying something else for her and donating this food.
