Trying to buy food that would be good for their skin and coat. Always used Royal Canin Skin and Coat dry food. The last time I could get it was Feb. 2022. None of my 8 kitties will eat it this canned food.
My two cats are VERY particular about their food and have eaten this specific brand of food for several years. I order it through the Auto program and have been very pleased with the service and product- up until now. My two cats can tell if their food has changed in ANY way- whether the contents or process have been altered or substituted in any way. Upon opening a can in this order, my cats smelled the food, took one taste and turned up their noses. They would not eat! This, to me, said something in the order was altered- either the contents or the process. NOTHING on the can label said the contents or process had changed but my two cats “said” differently. They have refused to eat food from any other can in this order! Now I cannot trust the production of this food for my cats so I do NOT recommend it!
My son’s cat loves this food and I really hope that after months of being out of stock and now available in the smaller cans, you continue to have either size available to purchase. The poor cat had to do without for quite a long time.
Was forced to buy this food since Adult Instinctive was out of stock. To give some context, my cat can be pretty picky, for example can tell when there’s something wrong with a batch of his food. So that made me nervous to switch. But to my pleasant surprise he scarfed it right up.
I have a petite cat who needs the extra calories and nutrition but can only eat 1/2 can of any catfood without vomiting. Intense Beauty has the highest no of calories of all the foods out there and keeps her coat nice and soft. She prefers the thin slices in gravy to the loaf, but that’s all that was available.
This is our first order from Chewy and our Mio loves the Royal Canin Beauty wet cat food. No bad smell or oder.
My 15 year old cat’s teeth are not doing well therefore we have to switch dry to wet food on him. He has a history of licking patches of his fur out from majority of cat food out there. This is the only wet food that made a big difference in his fur. No raw wounds, only super soft fur!
Upon opening a few cans, none of the canned food was as pictured on the internet or as pictured on the outside of the can. One of my cats got bad diarrhea after eating some. Chewy was very helpful, in returning the rest of the cans.
We have two one-year-old kitties who are both pretty finicky and neither can agree on the same food! FINALLY we have a winner! Both my Maine Coon mix and my tiny tabby LOVE this food! They both come running as soon as the tab pops and do not leave until every bite is gone! Plus, I am sure they are getting the best nutrition possible by choosing Royal Canin. Would highly recommend especially if you have a fussy kitty.
My Shiloh loves this cat food!!! His coat is soft and shiny too!
