love this food

My girls ate this for years. When the pandemic hit, we had to find a substitute. 2 years later, it's back in stock. The girls are so happy They definitely remember their favorite food. Awesome

Indoor/Outdoor Tabby Loves It

I was looking for a more robust and healthy dry food for my indoor/outdoor kitty boy. He is 6 years old and is a healthy cat. He is also a good, non-picky eater so I didn't want to disrupt his food habits too much, so I got this to mix with Purina ProPlan because that is his OG dry food. I chose this Royal Canin because he is indoor/outdoor and he does hunt, wanders around in wooded and neighborhoods, and I wanted to make sure it was getting good complete nutrients for his active lifestyle. Since I have started mixing RC and Purina together, I notice Nero has filled out. Not fat, but healthier looking. Fuller in the face and has a little more in his hips. Nero also free feeds and I see no issues with his weight, neither does his vet. I will keep using this and mixing it with his Purina. I'm very happy with this product and I can tell Nero is too!

He loves it

Benny seems to like the food and as a busy boy eats on the run. The bag makes for an excellent litter bag with the velcro seal across the top, etc. I benefit from beginning to end usage!

They love it!

Nutritionally sound and they love the taste too. Both cats go straight to their dry chow for a snack every time they enter the room.

We love it

It's hard to keep weight on my cat, so we gave this a try. Not only is he up to his perfect weight after getting through a full bag of this, his coat also looks and feels amazing. He will absolutely be on this food until his senior years, and we'll definitely be sticking with royal canin from here on out. Great results

I regret feeding this to my cats, start checking labels

Some time ago, I asked my vet what food she recommended. She gave me a vague uncommitted answer. I was anticipating she’d pick Royal Canin, due to it being the only product stocked in the waiting area. Based on that, I made the assumption Royal Canin was recommended by them. Recently I read, a cats diet should be like what they’d eat in the wild. Cats don’t hunt grains, their digestion is better suited for meat. This makes sense to me. I checked the ingredients of this product and was stunned to see the second through fifth ingredients are grains. It is now my opinion, this isn’t a high quality food and not what I want to feed my cats. I am switching to grain free food. Though when I read those labels I wonder if those ingredients make sense. Cats eating sweet potato? How is that better than corn? It is a mine field trying to find a high quality food for your pet. Where do you get dependable information, and then find that product? Hope you find my experience and opinion helpful.

Beware: Asthma

Cats love this and scarf it down. But after a few months all 3 of my cats started to have breathing problems and asthma attacks. I went to the vet and all their lungs were filled with fluid and needed inhalers. In just a few weeks of switching their food they no longer needed their inhalers.

Delicious,, Nutricious and Glossy Coats

That's the review from our 6 indoor and two feral outdoor cats. We had been feeding them a good grain-free wet and dry, which they liked. But I noticed their fur was not as glossy and soft as when we we feeding royal Canin for spayed and neutered. So, after about 4 months, we went back to RC both wet and dry - first time trying the dry. It's a big hit. Licked clean as if the dog got to the dishes! Two other strays are now feeding outside, and one "knocked" on my door by flinging himself against it to let me know the bowls were empty. Ay yi yi, what have I begun?!
