My. 16 year old shih tsu was not eating . She would sniff at everything and turn her nose and walk away. Because of her age she does not see or hear or smell very good. So I tried this even though it was very expensive. Figuring she would p not like it either. Well she loves it eats every bite . She’s starting to look healthier. So if it makes my girl happy I’ll spend the money.
I have a very very picky 14 yr old Italian Greyhound. Getting a good meal down her is a chore. Glad they finally restocked this. I offer this every other day and she eats it pretty good! So that's a win, win!
I was purchasing the Royal Canin small packets of food for dogs over 12, but can no longer find it anywhere, so was hoping this would be a good replacement. My dog seems to like it andmI hope he does well with it.
Our 16 year old Pom really liked this food and then Royal Canin dropped making it. We scrambled to find some other foods he would eat. Thank you very much for notifying us that this was back in stock. We ordered some day one.
Glad to see it back.
I recently adopted a 12 y/o male chihuahua. He is a doll. So sweet. Was being fed a high protein over the counter store brand dog food. Kidney levels little high when i got him to the vet. I stumbled upon this food, and wonders of all, he loves it. It and the over 12+ pouches he adores, not picky about it at all. I put his liquid joint med in it and he just gobbles it down and he is doing great now........ONLY thing is it is very hard to find, don't know what i will feed him when i can't find it anymore. Wish company would uptick on production and shipping. But otherwise i am in love with the food as long as he eats it.
My dog has been eating this brand for almost a year now. The most recent supply of wet food was extremely liquidy and unlike the normal consistency. My dog now have been getting sick and the only thing that has changed is how different this food looks. There are no recalls that I am aware of, and the dates on the cans are okay. They didn't get left out in the heat, but something clearly is not right with this batch. I used to think this brand was solid, but now I wouldn't recommend.
My little dog has been a very finicky eater ever since I adopted her. There would be days where she just wouldn’t eat. Then my sisters dog was put on Royal Canin by his vet and he gobbled it up. So I gave some to my dog and she gobbled it up! Eureka! So I ordered some for her age and size and she loves it and eats her dinner everyday and is even impatient for it.
I’ve been using Royal Canine for the last 10+ years, recommended by my Vet and my dog loves it. I ordered 2 cases of Royal Canine Mature 8+. One case was the usual 5.8 Oz and one case was much smaller sized cans for 5.2 Oz ..both at same price. The 5.8 Oz size allowed me to place cap on top for next use, plus allowed for planned portion amounts. I’d cut the dog food into 8 portions and then using 1 portion I’d mix in with Royal canine Pomeranian dry food bowl. Now, the change in can size and Oz changes everything because of smaller sized cans, no cap size will fit to cover for meal and unable to portion. WOULD HAVE PREFERRED ROYAL CANINE TO RAISE THE PRICE AND BE UPFRONT WITH CHANGE. WHY FIX SOMETHING NOT BROKEN!!
I was quite surprised as when I received the item my first thought was great because it said that it was loaf in sauce. I figured that it was going to be juicy but to my surprise, it was plain can food with no sauce. So upon knowing now what I am going to get I have decided not to buy this canned food again.
