We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

My dog recently went to the vet and we learned that she has hip dysplasia. Her right hip is completely out of socket. The doctor recommended this food to help strengthen her joints. She has been eating the food for about 3 weeks and it appears that she is moving better! The transition from her previous food to this food was seamless. If I could ask her, I’m sure she would have no complaints! Lol.
My pet prescribed this food for my 9 year old Beagle mix about 2 years ago. She has arthritis in both her bag legs from surgeries (torn ACL). This food made a world of difference in her mobility especially towards the end of the day. She is like a pup again.
Always excellent service
Amazing result for large dog with arthritis! In few days , great formula
My pup Luana has joint issues and severe food allergies. We have always been loyal to Royal Canine. However, we were recommended Hills joint for her issues. Unfortunately, she did not like it and did not sit well. We went back to Royal Canine (8+ years customers) Joint and she is loving it. Highly recommend. Chewy is also so amazing.
He also has sensitive stomach so we had to test it out first. Not sure if it is helping his joints yet but time will tell. Orthopedic dr told us this will work for him.
My 10yo labradoodle injured his hip during excessive zoomies following a particularly fun bath. Made worse by arthritis, it got a little better but he was struggling to get up after laying for a while, and stairs were hard. He was losing weight and muscle mass. Over several vet visits, we tried muscle relaxers, pain meds, supplements, and other oral options and nothing really helped. I stopped giving him the pain medication because it would made him a little pie-eyed and clumsy, and I was worried he would injure himself further. We introduced this food and within a week he started regaining weight and there was a HUGE difference in his mobility. After a year on this food he is a different dog. I would not have believed the difference it would make, and he really likes it (far more than his previous food).
Both of our dogs love this food. Cannot imagine going back to any other food. Both of my girls are special needs since Molly has dwarfism and Sophia is tripawd. Molly was taken in when my cousin could no longer care for her and Sophia was adopted from local shelter.
Expensive but worth every penny. This one produce restored my 8 yr old Lab (bow legged) health and mobility after spending $$$$ on numerous other specialty snd Rx foods, supplements and medications. Saving over $20 a bag buying from Chewy and get it delivered for free!!
While it’s difficult to be absolutely certain without empirical lab testing, my guy appears to thrive on this food. He’s a four-year old neutered Great Dane with (thankfully!!) no major issues, but his vet agreed that the mobility support would not be a bad idea as a preventative measure. So far, he’s stays incredibly shiny and enthusiastic with a constant spring in his step and song in his heart. He has always preferred Royal Canin’s palatability and this blend is no different. He receives a lot of compliments, which I can attribute to the quality of the kibbles that help him beaming (keeps a shiny hiney, we like to say around here). Would definitely say it’s worth a shot for anyone needing a high-quality kibble with the added benefit of better joint mobility; it’s like getting a two-for-one in that I don’t also need to purchase a joint supplement or get him injections.
