Black Fly Larvae

My ducks love this food due to the addition of the black fly larvae. I actually bought a box of them to add to the food since the ones in the bag are ground up.

Third try, great quality, but my birds refuse it

We have ducks, bantam hens and full sized hens. Well aware that sometimes birds can be fussy, this was our third bag and we tried every which way to get our birds

We have ducks, bantam hens and full sized hens. Well aware that sometimes birds can be fussy, this was our third bag and we tried every which way to get our birds to eat this. They really just don't like it. Our ducks pick around or ignore it, our bantams flat out refuse, and our large hens won't eat it - and usually they will come in after free ranging all day and gobble down anything before bed. I don't know why. I have tried offering it in different feeders, mixed with their regular feed, layered with feed, offered in a small portion after withholding feed... I know it is a quality food and we love Scratch and Peck feeds. Swear by them! But this sadly was a no go for us.

mostly a bag of dust

The ducks like it, but the bag was mostly dust and as soon as the ducks start eating it gets wet and cakes together. I won't be buying it again
