The toothpaste ingredients are: Sorbitol, Dicalcium Phosphate, Water, Hydrated Silica, Glycerin, Barley Malt Extract, Dextrose, Xanthan Gum, Acidified Calcium Sulfate, Potassium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Aspergillus Niger Fermentation Extract. Due to your cat's medical condition, we recommend consulting a veterinarian before using for the safest opinion.

If I can't brush my cat's teeth, will the toothpaste work just by it being in his mouth?

It is recommended to slowly introduce your cat to the toothpaste and brushing process. First, apply a small amount to your finger and allow your pet to taste. Then apply a small amount to the Sentry Toothbrush or Fingerbrush. Then gently lift up your cat's lips and cheeks. Begin brushing with short back and forth motions at the gum line. Brush only a few teeth the first time and give lots of praise during this process.

how long am I supposed to brush my cats teeth for to be beneficial? I get to brush them for mere seconds.

You want to brush your cat's teeth up to 30 seconds for each side of the mouth at least every other day.

Are the bristles on the brush very soft?

My cat loves it and it works

My cat loves it and it works well - the vet even asked me if I brush her teeth because they look amazing. But unfortunately it makes her throw up so I switched her

I’ve used this brand of toothpaste for years with every cat I’ve had. I’d tried a different brand with my boy when he first came to me but it didn’t make a difference

So I decided to go back to this and am so happy to see an improvement. He has an upcoming annual exam and I’m excited to see what our vet thinks.

Hard brush, harder finger cap

I bought this because it had a thimble style brush that my cat would tolerate better, but the one that came with it was so inflexible I couldn't get it on my finger

I bought this because it had a thimble style brush that my cat would tolerate better, but the one that came with it was so inflexible I couldn't get it on my finger without getting cut by the edges. I wouldn't trust it to stay on, and it's so hard that I wouldn't use it to brush my cat's teeth. It felt like it was made by Lego.

My cat likes it

I haven’t been able to teach her to brush her teeth yet (getting her to take her asthma inhaler is the priority for training!) but she will lick it off the toothbrush,

Starting dental hygiene young.

So I actually have got this set before but from another pet store and I made sure that it was all life stages so hopefully my Kitten loves it. I’m just reviewing
