It's recommended to bathe a dog with normal skin once a month with dog shampoo. If you want to bathe more often than once a month, use a soap-free or moisturizing shampoo to prevent the skin from becoming dry.

Is it safe to use Shed-X control shampoo for dogs (monthly) and give the shed-X dermaplex control supplement ( daily ) together.

does the shampoo get lots of lather? Or is it watery?

This shampoo does lather using coconut oil based cleansers. Once the shampoo is lathered, allow it to remain on your pets skin for a few minutes allowing the product to saturate into the skin.

Controls Shedding

Really does control most of the shedding. Sammy part Collie & Australian Shepard , Boy's got fur. This does leave his coat soft and does control the shed.

Does this really work?

Surprise! Surprise! This worked great! Cut the shedding way down. I Use the shed X on the food the green bottle also makes a big difference.

Itchy

My Australian Shepherd sheds a lot even though I brush her every day. Thought I would give this shampoo a try. It smells nice an lathers good. Have used it twice

My Australian Shepherd sheds a lot even though I brush her every day. Thought I would give this shampoo a try. It smells nice an lathers good. Have used it twice but it has made her itch like crazy, which tells me there is an ingredient that is irritating her skin. Will go back to using Earthbath.

I THINK the shampoo worked as my Stella is certainly shedding less, but on the other hands, she just may have run out of hair! Regardless, it smelled nice, left
