Is this a pack of 2 or 4?

This product includes a set of 4.

What’s the trick in keeping these from twisting and sliding down

Answer by ChewyJun 14, 2022
For these turnout socks, as long as these are the correct size and they are tightened correctly, they should not twist and fall down. If the socks are doing that, you may have to size down.

I thought I was really going to like these when I unpacked them. They seemed like they were made well.... The stitching on the velcro ripped on day two, when my horse was getting up from laying down. You would think they would be a little tougher than that.

Not too shabby

They stay on pretty good. I did notice that they like to kind of scrunch down a little bit but overall they do stay on and get the job done.

sturdy but no fleece where needed

When I left them on my horse for 3 days they rubbed him raw at the fetlocks. Not good.

I’ve purchased these fly boots multiple times and in different colors and patterns and they seriously do not last very long. The other company that makes the ones that are not tight on the legs don’t work. These are the only ones that actually keep the flies from biting, but they do not hold up so frustrated. Just wish they could make them have a better material. The photo above I just purchased they lasted not even four days before they ripped like this and this is a horse that is in a stall with shavings not even out getting caught up on stuff. I wish someone made fly boots that actually lasted specially for our expensive they are.

Usually I use ShooFly fly boots because im used to fitted fly boots immediately falling apart. I tried these out because my horse had a sore on her lower leg that kept getting bigger and nastier because it was being eaten by flies and gnats, and no product or combination of products to keep the flies off was working. I think they actually ate the SWAT off the wound. I started using these fly socks and the wound is finally able to heal. I can tell the ventilation is great because 1. My horses legs aren’t hot and 2. The flies all land on top of the sock over where the wound is, so they can smell it they just can’t get to it. Only been using for a week so can’t speak for the durability but they haven’t been damaged so far. they’re fairly adjustable and they stay in place pretty well. I have to fine tune the Velcro a little bit for the sock to stay right where I want it but after that it doesn’t move very much throughout the day.

Fly socks are awesome

These are the best fly socks. They actually stay up and you don’t need to keep adjusting them. Would like a darker color.
