Cat loves scratching the couch but will not touch the cardboard scratcher. I tried redirection and modeling. He lets me mess with his toes so I put his paws on the scratcher and flexed his claws to demonstrate how to use it. There’s no lightbulb “Aha” moment there. Also there’s either no catnip in this product or it’s so old that it’s worn off. Cat always has a strong response to catnip but is completely uninterested in this product.

Sturdy and well made!

I ordered the large scratcher and my kitty has been going crazy with it! I had been needing one for a while now so I decided to try this one and i was bot disappointed

I ordered the large scratcher and my kitty has been going crazy with it! I had been needing one for a while now so I decided to try this one and i was bot disappointed. Only issue would be that the scratcher falls out of the outer cardboard box in the upright position but you can always take if off and use it without it.
