Feeding Instructions
Before opening, make 4 - 6 small holes in the bottom of container. Remove lid. Open seed package and stir in seeds, ensuring that most are covered.
Place container on a small saucer. Add water to completely moisten soil (about 1/4 cup). Drain excess water. Cover container loosely with lid and place in warm, dark location.
Once growth is visible, leave container open and move to sunny location. Water when soil surface is dry to the touch. Do not add fertilizers or pesticides.
Feed to your cat when sprouts are about 4" high. Sprouts wither naturally in several weeks.

Grows Well, Doesn't Last Long
I have always purchased SmartyKat grass seeds and had success despite not having a green thumb, so I purchased this kit as I didn't see the seeds available for purchase separately. This grass grew really well, and my cats loved it, but unfortunately, it didn't last long. I recommend this product, but I wish it lasted longer and was available in a larger container for multi-cat homes.

Been ordering for years
I’ve been ordering this stuff for years and it’s great! The seeds always sprout well into nice healthy grass that my kitty loves! Definitely recommend.
The best grass option I have come across
I have tried a few different products but this works the best. You have to follow directions to a tee. Puncture the holes in bottom of container add the exact amount of water required and I put away in a dark warm spot. I put it in my kitchen closet with the top covering the base but the top is flipped covering 3/4 of the base . It takes a few days but it grows and then I xfer to a heavier flower pot. This way the the roots can grow deeper and it prevents my cat from flipping it every time she bite the grass. I have found this product to grow the fullest and thickest out of several I have tried. Your cat will love it just follow those directions
Only one that doesn't make my kitties throw up
I've tried 4 different kinds of grass, ones with oats, etc...and they all make our kitties throw up horribly. This one is the only one they nibble and don't throw up. Yes, the container is light weight and cats can move around or tip over...so put it in a heavier container or do what I do and use a ceramic short pot to grow the seeds. They are not skimpy at all in fact in the container they come with they fill it thickly if the seeds are wetted properly for germination. TIP: Soak the seeds for a few hours before planting and you will have a much better yield, I place a piece of saran wrap loosely over the top until germination starts and then take it off, really good results and my cats love this grass.

Our cats can eat this grass all day without vomiting like they get from the outside grass.
