Perfect for Indoor Cat!

My indoor cat tried to sneak out every time the door opened! When I brought him back he was always nibbling on grass in the yard. In the house he tried to chew on my fern! Now he has his own plant and loves it!

cat grass seed

The cats love it. It keeps indoor cats healthy. They have a snack when they want it. The plant looks pretty while growing.

Skimpy amount

This product doesn’t grow as tall or as much as others I’ve tried. However, my cat still likes it. Just not enough for the price.

So far so good!

I was hesitant but decided to try it since Chewys got such great customer service. Followed the instructions to the T, took a couple days but sprouts began, and after putting it under my plant light, grew very quickly the first day! It continues to grow quick fast, which is nice, but with the number of seeds it definitely seems like a lot of the haven't sprouted or should have maybe split them between two containers, so they all had enough room to grow. I think it's been 4 days and they are already between 2-4 inches high !

Sweet greens

I planted half the seed packet in a planter with the soil it came with plus some potting soil It sprouted in about 4 days.My cat goes out on the porch every morning to eat some. She used to puke a lot but since she's been eating the greens, she hasn't puked.

Indoor cats love it!

My sis has 6 indoor cats (all rescues) and all but 1 love it. I get it for them because I had 2 feral rescues that became happy indoor cats for their long lives, and they LOVED this grass. I tried other brands when this was unavailable but this one is definitely the best. It is super easy to grow. It takes about a week after planting to reach enough inches high for the cats to enjoy it. Some cats just gnaw on it and others pull it out by the roots and play with it. I poke holes in the bottom of the container before putting the dirt and seeds in, and put it in a heavy bowl to keep it more secure. After it has grown, I water it from the bottom and that seems to extend the life. It needs some sun every day. I put it in a window for 2-3 hours a day and they have access to it the rest of the time. There is one con, it can be quite messy, so you’ll want to put it somewhere that’s easy to clean. Not a rug or cloth surface. This has been very hard to find lately, so I’m ever so glad to find it at Chewy!

Cat grass meow!

My cats really like grass like this. This particular kind is thicker, stiffer than others. But that seems to be fine with my cats. I am trying a bunch of different kinds to see which ones my little darlings like the best. Stay tuned.

Mold issues

I was hoping this product would be different than the last, just tried the last of it and all the times I planted it, mold formed. Just giving up on trying any other

SmartyKat sweet greens

I divided the seeds into several small pots so they grow at different times. Of course my indoor cat thinks it's the coolest thing to have grass! After he chews it a bit I'll pull some blades out and poke a few seeds back in and water.
