Best Slow Feed for our Senior
This is the best slow feeder for our senior dog. He eats kibble that is hydrated with chicken stock and we put his vitamins in there as well. 1 cup of kibble and 1 cup of stock so 2 cups total and it works great! It's deep enough that it really forces him to slow down and sturdy enough that it doesn't get knocked over by his aggressive sniffing.
Amazing For Food Vacuums
My dog is a food vacuum. He just inhales his food. This bowl specifically has taken his eating time to maybe 2 minutes to 5-8 minutes minimum. I absolutely love it. It's easy to was in the dishwasher.
Not worth it
I use a ton of slow feeders with my dogs and am always looking for new ones to try. I've seen positive reception to some of SodaPup's other items so when I saw this Honeycomb design was available on chewy, I ordered right away. First of all, this thing is not cheap. There are countless slow feeders available at a significantly lower price point. It has no anti slip feature so it just slides all over the place unless you have it on a mat. I was selfishly also hoping it would fit inside a Yeti bowl or something similar to help add some height, but it definitely doesn't. This is a small nitpick, but the info sticker on the back is a major PITA to remove. You'll definitely need some rubbing alcohol or googone. Overall, I don't recommend this product and wish I could get a refund :(
