Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Refill with Flavor Wave Treats, small treats, or kibble. Dishwasher safe, top rack.

This is literally the best toy we've ever purchased for our dogs. We have a 50 pound pitty, and a 100 pound wolf beast. Together they can disassemble any other toy we give them in under 5 minutes. We had an expensive tuffy stuffed toy that squeaked that once lasted 36 hours, but that's the closest we've seen to these. These pickles still last. I suggest using American cheese cut into thin strips and smooshed into the grooves. 1 slice gets us 2 filled toys. It's definitely a licking toy, our dogs chomp it but it's indestructible so they just take 15-20 minutes of intense concentration to lick all the cheese out. Usually exhausts them and they are super happy. I wouldn't put hard treats in it, I don't think the dogs would know how to even start with that.
Usually, my dog takes one or two days to figure out how to quickly get treats from anything I give him. But with this toy, he takes a while to get all the treats out. The toy itself lasts longer too-longer than kongs and other power chewer things I've given him.
My dog can chew through anything, but this toy has held up well and only a few cuts in it (no chunks missing) after 3 months. He especially loves how it bounces in different directions due to its shape and trying to get treats out of the slots. We use our own treats, not the ones specifically sold for this.
I first purchased this dispenser when my dogs were puppies, 5 years ago. They are big chewers and the dispenser has held up this long! I have new puppies now and purchased another one for them and they already enjoy it. I may have to purchase more because they love it so much. It is a sturdy product! I use treats and peanut butter with it. I highly recommend it!
Honestly it comes as described and it seems well made. It holds treats well and honestly even peanut butter if you wanted. That being said my pit bull wasn’t really into it. He likes the peanut butter way but it didn’t make him want to chew, just lick. If we put a treat in it he just ignores the whole thing completely. That being said he’s not really into toys yet so we’re trying to teach him. So far it’s not his thing.
Just received this in the mail today. Washed it off and stuck my bully mixed favorite freeze dried beef liver treats in the grooves. So far he has been at it consistently for over an hour without a scratch on it! That is saying something because he can normally destroy anything! Will update if this changes. So far, definitely worth the money!
I'd suggest only buying this dispenser if you plan to buy their treats. When I put other dog biscuits into the slots, they are frequently crushed by the pickle. It's a fun bouncy toy, but doesn't really serve a broad purpose.
I broke up jerky treat in little pieces & put in slots. BIG hit with the dog(s)
We have been using this treat dispenser daily for years. I stuff it with Zukes mini naturals. My dog is a 32# beagle silky terrier mix. It takes her a couple of minutes to get 15 treats out. I find it a great way to give her her evening snack. She comes running when I mention that it's time for her pickle pocket. I am extremely happy with this product.
This toy is great and keeps my dog occupied for a long time. It gets super nasty but that’s to be expected. My pup gets so excited when I ask if she wants her pickle! Her other treat dispensing toys she lobs onto the ground to break up the treats inside which sounds like a herd of elephants stomping around and is not super conducive to telework. This treat however keeps her quiet as she lays down and slobbers all over it. Would highly recommend.
