My tiny pity is a light eater, sometimes going a day or two before she seems to get hungry. I've tried different kinds of foods and is just an unenthusiastic grazer. Fast-forward to purchasing this item, I use 6 to 7 meatballs and her regular kibble And she devoured it immediately. I'm thrilled that she's getting the nutrition that she needs and seems enthusiastic about eating.

It’s not something I will use regularly as my dogs are crazy for their meals and would go bananas if they had to wait for this to defrost. So, I’m using it as a dessert to give them a little while after dinner.

Easy to dispense and measure raw diet! This food is really a nice blend of providing raw ingredients and an easy to measure and feed form. The food comes in raw frozen pellets that are about 1 inch sections. There is obviously a raw meat smell but that’s expected and tells me it’s the real deal. The ingredients are great and simple. Pictures included. My dogs were OBSESSED with this food and it really made me change my tune about feeding raw since it showed me how natural it is for them to eat raw diet. Very impressed!

Good for hearty eaters, not for sensitive stomachs

I have two dogs and had two pretty different experiences with trying this food. One of my dogs has a more sensitive stomach and she did not tolerate even a small

I have two dogs and had two pretty different experiences with trying this food. One of my dogs has a more sensitive stomach and she did not tolerate even a small amount of this food (when mixed in with her regular food as the instructions recommend). She vomited and pooped in the house the night of. So, not great! However - our other dog who is a hearty eater LOVES this and it’s the first thing he goes for. So, a great option if you know your dog’s tolerance level for new foods. One note on packaging - it is frozen and so it comes in a big box with dry ice. It’s a lot of packing for a small bag. For that reason I would think twice about ordering online. But Chewy did a great job of shipping because it was still frozen when received.

I like Stella and Chewy’s, they make some really good pet food products. The Duck Duck Goose Frozen Dinner Morsels looked very good to me. However, my dog has been known to have a picky appetite and she does not like them. She tried her best, carried them around the house like she always does with new food. But after trying it a few times, she never ate it and left the raw duck on the floor which caused some wet squishy messes. I think maybe she would’ve liked one of the other flavors more.

I’ve tried a lot of different foods over the years, but nothing compares to Stella & Chewy’s Duck Duck Goose! My dogs absolutely love it. The moment I open the bag, they come running and can’t wait for me to serve their meals. It’s reassuring to know they’re eating something made with high-quality, raw ingredients — 95% poultry, bone, and organ — and it’s cage-free too. The frozen morsels are easy to portion out and thaw, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in my dogs’ energy, coats, and digestion since switching to this food. I feel good knowing I’m feeding them something that supports their health and keeps them excited for mealtime. Duck, Duck, uh oh… This freezer raw dog food came well packaged in dry ice. The packaging itself looks appeasing, well labeled, and figured it would be an instant success! I’ve tried feeding this to my dog on three occasions. Although Jackson was interested (smelled the bag right away), he took one thawed chunk to the carpet, chewed it and spit it up. After that, he refused to touch it on two more occasions. He usually isn’t a picky eater and loves all meat! However, I’ve never attempted to feed him raw food before. This bag will be passed onto a different doggo in hopes of another doggy giving this two paws up!

It also ends up being cold which again, they were not a fan of. I did give my mom’s dog some who is not as nearly as picky as my dogs and he absolutely loved it.

This type of food is new to my Lab/German Shepard. She enjoys freeze dried products a lot. She is a very picky eater and we have tried quite a few different options. At first she was hesitant to try this, but with some coaxing, ate it. I think she liked the taste but the texture was something she is not used to. It becomes very soft, a puréed form when it is thawed. The product is shipped frozen with dry ice. When I received it, most of the dry ice had evaporated. The food appeared to still be frozen, but being to thaw. I think I will rotate this food into her feeding again, maybe trying a different flavor.
