My 3 month old dachshund puppy was eating Fromm Puppy Gold dry mixed with Honest Kitchen Bloom (dehydrated goat milk w/ probiotics and enzymes) with warm water moistened for 15 minutes. Now I add 2 Stella & Chewy's puppy chicken and salmon to a quarter cup Fromm with 1/4 cup or less warm water to moisten and he eats his bowl right up!

  • It's Tasty to my Pup !

    By on Top 500 Contributor

It may be the hint of salmon, because my puppy just dived into her bowl of food and licked the bowl clean. I only use a little as a topper to her kibble for she is a large pup. But it totally sparked her interest. I would recommend Stella/Chewy products; I've used their freeze dried products for several years.

  • Best Toppers!

I have a 6 months old Frenchie who is a picky eater. So I started buying different kinds of toppers to put on top of her dry food, and I must say.. this is one of her favorites. She always looking forward to dinner time now.

  • Thank you!

    By on

Thank you for making a formula especially for puppies. My little Maltese is 10 months old and she has enjoyed this awesome addition to your family of foods! The patties seem a little softer and easier to chew than the original patties. She is a very picky eater and doesn't consistently like any particular food every day. I have about 4 different varieties of your meals for our Bella. Thanks again for your high quality food options!!!!

  • Puppy approved!

My pup goes insane for this food. I really love Stella and Chewy's and everything they stand for so i was really excited to see that they came out with a puppy formula. I have a 5 month old Australian shepherd and i want to make sure that he gets all the nutrients that he needs and the fact that this food has DHA and all the things my puppy needs is a huge plus. I do from time to time use this as a topper instead of a full meal. My dog has literally knocked the bowl out of my hand while i am putting his dinner together. Four paws up from Crimson and Bowser!

  • GREAT mixer, meal, and training meal!

    By on

Breed: Toy Australian Shepherd Age: 5 months Weight: 6 lbs (I include the information on the top because I think that different dogs in sizes and breeds have different preferences) This is an AMAZING product! I feed Ellie wet food regularly, but it's hard to train Ellie with wet food. I now feed Ellie wet food in the morning and train Ellie by breaking up the Stella and Chewy patties at night as a training meal. Ellie LOVES it! It's very crumbly so great for mixing too! Definitely ordering more! (Be careful with the top zip though. It broke off so I had to move it into another container or else it would go stale)

  • No luck with picky 9 month female puppy

    By on

This food definitely looks great and ingredients are excellent! I do like the convenience of freeze dried patties that you only need to add water to. The reason we are giving it 3 stars is because it wasn't a hit with our pup and now we have 1.75 bags of expensive food :/

  • Licked Her Bowl Clean!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I've been looking for a raw food made specifically for puppies for a while now with no luck. I came across this and was so excited since I love this brand! I rehydrated the patties with warm water and let them soak for about a minute and then fed them to my shih tzu puppy-they were gone immediately! I could definitely smell the salmon on her face when she kissed me afterwards too. She's had raw food before, but never the patties so I was curious if she would like these or not-no question about it now! What a great new product with awesome ingredients!
