Small Dogs: With small dogs, the head must be inserted first into the shirt followed by each front leg (separately) into the openings provided. The suit should then be pulled back as far as possible over your pet’s body. The two straps on the belly side are secured by threading them between the rear legs and then connecting the snaps to the upper section near the base of the tail. Make sure that there is enough room for tail movement.
Large Dogs: With large dogs (long legs) it is easier to insert one front leg followed by the head and then the other leg into the provided openings. The suit should then be pulled back as far as possible over your pet’s body. The two straps on the belly side are secured by threading them between the rear legs and then connecting the snaps to the upper section near the base of the tail. Make sure that there is enough room for tail movement.
It is comfortable, hygienic and can be washed at 30º Celsius. Do not place items in the dryer, must be air dryed.

I purchased this for my dog after his neuter as an option instead of the cone of shame. It provided good incisional coverage and kept him from licking but the material tears easily. It didn’t fit him well. It was tight in the neck area and loose and stretchy in the hind area. He tore several holes in it by grabbing the chest area with his teeth and pulling on it. We alternated using it and our old stand by cone. It does shrink in the dryer which helped with the stretching . There is a snap on the chest to attach the part that goes around his backside so that it is out of the way when he goes out to do his business. Great idea however they put the wrong snap here so it won’t attach. We ended up just undoing the back side and snapping it around his middle when he went outside. Overall the product worked but my dog just wasn’t a fan
I bought the large size for my 60ish pound poodle mix for him to wear after neutering. It seems a little baggy in his tummy area but fits well everywhere else. I'm going to be using it with the neck pillow, I'm worried about him being so lanky that the pillow wouldn't work on it's own but wanted another option that wasn't a cone. We're just practicing and getting used to it right now, but he's taking well to it and I feel confident that this will be good when he does get snipped!
I highly recommend this recovery suit, I had a 110-pound puppy who got a gastropexy and neuter and this was perfect for him. It fit well, caused no irritation, and he was much more comfortable in this than the cone. Before I got this I had to fight him to get him back in his cone when I took it off to clean it but this solved that problem easily. My dog hated the cone but had absolutely no problem wearing this. Again, I would recommend this to everyone.
I bought this for my Corgi so she wouldn’t have to wear a cone after her spay. She is a large corgi, 34 pounds. I measured her and ordered the size that fit her measurements which was Medium. At first it fit her ok, it was a little loose on her belly in the middle but it was snug on her legs and butt, so I wasn’t worried about her being able to get to her incision. If that was still true after a week of her wearing it then this would be a 5 star review. It has gotten so stretched out that it won’t even stay on her anymore, her short legs constantly get stuck inside of it because it is just so loose. I understand making it stretchy but it needs to keep its shape, this suit has not done that.
This was so much better than that cone when Bessie was spayed. She didn’t mind wearing it, it protected her incision against accidentally scratching it, and all I had to do when she went out to potty was unsnap and tuck the bottom inside. Use the loops inside for attaching it to the collar so they don’t stretch the neck out. Size 2x, Bessie is 135 lbs/61kgs, and it also fit my larger Great Dane.
We got this for our dog who was having surgery. This is an excellent choice as an alternative to the “cone of shame”. My dog is 60lbs & we got a large. Fit her perfectly. I had no trouble at all with the snaps. Anytime she needed to go out, I easily unsnapped & then snapped the end’s together so they’d be out of the way. Took seconds. Highly recommended.
This saved me. My 11 month old Lab hated the cone and managed to lick her spay incision. Fortunately she didn’t cause too much damage, just a slight infection. We got the recovery suit and it was a game changer. Peace after a long stressful 3 days with no sleep.
We bought this for our lab to avoid the cone. It does its job. Our girl is 63lbs and almost 12 months old. We bought a large. I am including pics. Fits perfect for her shoulders and a bit baggy at the rear. I believe a medium would have been too small.
Puppy was spayed at one year, minus a day of age. This recovery suit was perfect so that use of an Elizabethan Collar was not necessary. Very easy to roll up when taking the puppy out to eliminate, and rollback and double snap on each side of the tail when returning inside. Very high quality cotton, and workmanship. Washes and dries to same size,no shrinkage.
My dog had a tumor removed on her side. This suit was perfect. She never had to wear a cone. My vet also explained that it was beneficial for putting pressure on the site and reducing swelling. My dog tolerated it without issues. My only complaint is that it says it can be "rolled" to position for the dog's elimination. There are no instructions on how to do this and I never figured it out. Instead, I tied the unsnapped ends to the side that didn't have sutures each time she went out to pee. I wish this process had been a bit easier. Overall, I was pleased, and my dog was happier with this than she would have been if she had had to ear a cone. One last thing: It does get stretched out so I advise washing every few days in order to keep a fitted shape/size.
