Senior Dogs
By Baileyboy on Jan 15, 2021
My sweet pup has used green lipped mussels in many forms for years. It’s excellent for joints. Sadly my sweet boy never got to use this jar because we had to say goodbye to him. I had just purchased this from Chewy as well as his prescription dog food and when I wrote Chewy about what happened I got the kindest, most sincere reply from them. I have been very impressed with their customer service over the years. They respectfully refunded my recent unused purchases and I was able to donate the products to my Vet. Thank you Chewy

All around good
By SamLoo on Jan 3, 2021
I have been using this for my 14 yr old shih Tzu, 8 yr old AmStaff, and my 2 senior cats. I will first state that none of them had any severe joint pain or arthritis before I started using this product. I mainly got this for my 13yr old cat and 14yr old Shih tzu as I could tell they seem to be having a little difficulty on steps and jumping. I noticed after about a month both had improved! I was already doing research on the other benefits of green lipped mussels, and I decided to put my Am staff(8yrs), and other cat (7yrs) on this product as well for the added support. I only wish I had known about this product when I had my great Dane mix who had severe joint problems his whole life. Seems to work
By QueenofthePrairie on Jan 7, 2021
My Bouvier's vet recommended green mussel supplement for what appeared to be some arthritis in one hip due to aging. The dog's symptoms have so far disappeared. Whether that is due to the product, or due to a different diagnosis which healed on its own or different weather conditions, I don't know. But I have a terrific vet, and I trust her knowledge base and recommendations. I sprinkle on food and mix with a little warm water and then I can't smell it. My dog eats it fine. At first, her poop did smell bad. Now, it doesn't. Give it time, maybe.

First time writing a review... it’s THAT good
By Sasha on Dec 10, 2020
I was skeptical to try this, but for the price point— I added it to the cart. This stuff helped my dog more than any of the cosequin/dasuquin products and started working in only a week! This is really a holy grail product and seems natural enough that you can feel good about feeding this to your pet. The only downside is that my dog’s mobility and demeanor have improved so much that he’s starting to get into his old puppy habit of counter-surfing. Definitely worth a try!

Little too dusty, but dogs like it
By Emma on Nov 29, 2020
We haven’t been using this long enough to see a visible difference but are trying to be proactive about mobility for one middle aged dog and one dog with injury-induced arthritis. So far they seem to enjoy a sprinkle on top of their meals! My one issue with this product is the powder is ground a little too fine. I took a sniff when I first got it to see if it smelled fishy and the powder burned my nose because so much was in the air. Moistening the dogs’ food would help this not be an issue for them at least.

Awful smelling and didn't help
By Laura on Dec 31, 2020
I ended up throwing this out after about a month of no noticeable improvement from either my 15 yr old cat nor my 12 yr old dog. No matter where I put the container in my house, you could smell it. I would have dealt with the rotting fish smell if it helped my pets but it did not.

Great ingredients but it didn’t work for my dog.
By Spatts25 on Jan 2, 2021 Top 250 Contributor
I love super snouts and their ingredients are amazing but this product did not do anything for my 14 year old dog. GLM powder was recommended to me by the vet after my dog got diagnosed with arthritis but it hasn’t helped one bit.

Great sub for CBD
By KCats on Jan 3, 2021
My cat didn't do well with CBD. This seems to be helping his joints without the side effects he had with CBD. He has a little pep in his step with this product! He won't eat it in his food, so we put it in capsules.

my dog was put off by it
By Emily on Jan 13, 2021
I got this product on recommendation from trusted friends. My dog will eat anything but after putting this on his food for a few days he stopped eating. So it’s just not for him!

Major improvement
By PinscherPack on Nov 4, 2020
I was skeptical at first, but after a month of this stuff I'm impressed. I have a senior Doberman mix who has lived outside most of her life. When I adopted her I could see that it was tough for her to get up and down easily. She would tire easily and was not as playful as her senior brother. I knew she needed a natural aid for her ailments so I gave this a try. After a full month of using this product she is running around more and has no issues jumping up onto the furniture. I highly recommend this.
