Lawsuit!

Imagine trusting a company for years to only find out it caused your two dogs to have heart issues. This brand has a lawsuit against them for misleading customers

Imagine trusting a company for years to only find out it caused your two dogs to have heart issues. This brand has a lawsuit against them for misleading customers about the quality of their food. Search their name and lawsuit and you can read yourself. I am appalled that I rotated different kibble from this brand and had no idea I was hurting my dogs. My one girl has passed due to cardiomyopathy and now the other is suffering the same way. I just bought a new bag (still unopened) they will go to the trash. No, I will not donate and hurt another!!

Still trying to figure out if this is the best food for my dog’s allergies but huge improvement over Purina Pro Plan, that suddenly started making him itch and making his stomach constantly churn. I’m guessing they upped the cheap chicken mean as a source of protein. But he’s so much better after changing to this chicken-free Also ancient grains formula. Also wheat and corn free , which are also common allergens. Also trying the lamb version. They both are way better than the Purina for my dog. Just a little pricey in my opinion. Wish there were something allergen-free that didn’t cost so much.

Didn't work out

I like the ingredients in this brand and loved the idea of moving my rottie puppy over to something fish based. But boy oh boy did it give him the absolute worst

I like the ingredients in this brand and loved the idea of moving my rottie puppy over to something fish based. But boy oh boy did it give him the absolute worst gas. And it wasn't just here and there. It was all day every day crop dusting that caused me to have to buy THREE bottles of febreeze. On top of that he started developing dandruff and a dull coat, which was really surprising. As soon as I switched him back to blue buffalo large breed puppy he was no longer clearing the room with his farts.

He has a 2 bald patches that have lingered for a year and only after finishing this first bag of food not only is his coat silkier, but THE HAIR IS BEGINNING TO REGROW in his bald patches. I can’t believe it. The farts are bad but his stools are normal and I am so impressed with the hair that I will deal with the farts.

It was recently discovered that Baloo may have a chicken and/or corn allergy. He was rubbing his face raw to the point that he needed antibiotics and (horrors) the cone of shame. This salmon formula was one of the very few dog foods that I could find with no chicken. Baloo took to it right away! Before he wasn’t eating his other food, but now he gobbles this right down. We still have to wait to see if he develops an allergy to this but our fingers are crossed.
