Their salmon is sourced from the Pacific Northwest. Due to concerns over sustainable fishing, we use a blend of wild caught and farmed salmon. It comes in fresh and does not contain any preservatives

Not the one for our girl.

Was hoping to transition our Frenchie to fish as a main protein due to concern for skin conditions like our pug had. Our girl has not tolerated it well. Have had a few days of vomiting after eating and kibble and stomach acid coming up. Not sure this is the one for her

I’ve had my bluenose pitbull since he was a month old, and when I first got him, his poop was watery for a few days. I was recommended to try Taste of the Wild, salmon, flavored, and my pup has been loving it ever since. Not only does he go to the bathroom on a regular schedule, but his coat is really shiny and he is a healthy, smart dog. I definitely recommend this brand for your pup.

Great stuff

My neighbor got me on this brand. I got my puppy from someone that night, all I had was cat food. So I asked him for some dog food, I noticed the next day his Poops were Firm and small , not like his first poop was Big and Runny.. so right away I ordered the puppy " Taste of the wild" Pacific salmon and its been 3 weeks he looks healthy his coat is Shiny and soft he looks beautiful. this food is the best the only kind I would buy now

Wanted to love it

I have been feeding my 5 month old puppies this food since I brought them home on recommendation of the breeder, who is also a vet. One of them, who is actually from a different breeder and was eating purine pro plan when I got her has done really well in this food. After the switch her poops were barely smelly compared to the opposite on the other food, and her wax buildup in her ears also cleared up and have not had a problem since. Her stools are also nice and firm and regular. Unfortunately that is not the case for my male ES. His poop has been soft borderline diarrhea on this food since we got him which is extremely difficult to clean up. He was on the bison flavor originally, but there was no change with the salmon flavor either. Wish this could have worked out but we will be making a switch to another brand.

TotW salmon puppy recipe

Vet attributed diarrhea of 10-week-old CKCS pup to chicken allergy, transitioned pup to TotW salmon and we never looked back. Diarrhea disappeared, gave stools perfect consistency, virtually no odor, and vet complimented pup on smooth, shiny coat after being on food for two weeks. Signed up for Chewy's auto ship, 15-pound bag got here super quick. This higher-priced food is worth every penny.

Different sizes?

My puppy does like this. However, this last bag that just came in today, the food pieces are double the size. I don't know if the flavor is off because he doesn't seem to want to eat it. :(

Dog food for mini Aussiedoodle

My Aussiedoodle is a picky eater I bought this brand and flavor because I noticed he itched a lot with the chicken food brands. However he did stop eating this food and so I had to give it to a shelter but I am trying it again because I had some left over that I fed him and he ate it so let’s hope he eats it. Btw we love chewy.

great product

Chewy is the best and with fair prices . I like this food , salmon is good for my boy and I get this puppy one so my boy can get eat small kibble ,( he has no teeth ) .
