Fish love it
I buy the larger the largest container, shake it up to break the food down into smaller pieces, then transfer to a smaller container which I use to feed my fish. May seem inefficient, but it works for me.

Bought as an alternative
I bought this fish food as my regular brand was out of stock. The fish eat them but I can only put a little at a time in or the water clouds.

All my fish love this food.
The best food for your fish is the food that they love to eat. I have many aquariums and lots and lots of fish food, many different brands, many different types of food. I do “force” them to eat different types of food, but the tetra tropical flakes or color tropical flakes is just promptly accepted by my fishes.

When i ordered this I read the other reviews and knew it would be a large container but had no idea how much larger it would be! I normally buy a 1.23oz jar of Fluval tropical fish flakes for $4.99 at my local fish store. I was blown away at how much bigger this is for only $1 more! I fill my small jar halfway and put the rest of the can in the freezer so it stays fresh. My fish seem to like it much more than the Fluval flakes. They used to spit out large flakes multiple times until they were smaller and then they'd eventually get eaten by one of the fish. With these new flakes, my mollies eat the large flakes whole! All the fish are enthusiastic at feeding time, popping up and attacking the food at the top of the tank. It's fun to feed them again!
