These are really great and affordable...I give them to my algae eaters and a treat for my tropical fish from time to time. My Jack Dempsey nibbles as well. They dissolve slowly and don’t create a mess like others I’ve tried. Can’t beat this $$$. Thank you Chewy!!

    Using these for years.

    By on Top 250 Contributor

If you have a pleco you probably need these. I give these to my pleco every few days in between cucumber slices and lettuce to make sure he gets the nutrition he needs. There’s not enough algae in my tank to support his nutritional needs and I have a feeling most of our tanks are that way. He love these, as does the catfish and the crawdad!

    Aptly Named

    By on

Well the common pleco (nearing 6 inches) and the two Pictus Catfish (both 5 inches) that I rescued from a 1 gallon tank (yes, super sad and there were other fish in that 1 gallon tank) eat these with relish. When I'm turning off the tank lights for the night I drop these in and immediately the pleco comes out of hiding to find them (it is in love with them). The Pictus Catfish also enjoy these. Highly recommend for plecos and other bottom feeders. They sink quickly, don't foul the water, and the fish they are intended for LOVE THEM.

Not a huge fan of Tetra BUT....

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

I grow worm cultures for my fish, white worms and grindal worms. I like to use cheap sinking wafers to feed them and it works great. I also use them every now and then for my shrimp and plecos. Great price, decent product!

I have 2 Chinese algae eaters that just love them. It seems this food has help them grow awfully fast also.

Loved this and so did my babies!

    By on

I have a pletco and he absolutely loved it, the goldfish too. My catfish doesn't know what to think about it yet but I'm sure he'll figure it out, he is more shy than the others.

My Plecos and Algae Eaters Haven't Even Touched Them

    By on

Well the reviews looked awesome and I thought my plecos and algae eaters would like them but they haven't touched them once! I guess they are just not as good as I thought.
