Very Pleased!

I wish I had tried Chewy.com earlier. I've always had a hard time finding the Tetra Pond Flakes at my local Pet Store. I no longer have to worry about that. I will be ordering from Chewy.com for all my pet supplies and their prices are very reasonable.

Baby goldfish love this food

I use this to feed the babies as they are too small to be able to grab pellets. The flakes stay on the surface which allows the smaller fish to be able to grab them before sinking. It is always eaten within a minute from distributing.

Good & Plenty

Good and healthy for small fish in a small outdoor pond with a few turtles lots of rocks and water lilies.

Pretty good fish food

This food seems alright compared to comparable pet fish foods, and better than a lot of them. More natural foods and fewer alcohol sugars, colors, and chemicals would be preferred. Also, it had a good price when first ordered, but when I came back to order more about a week later, it was nearly 3 times the price so I did not re-order it. This is actually being used in a small, shallow, overcrowded temporary "pond" to try helping tadpoles mature before winter. Normally, they mature in about a month from the time eggs were laid. This year, it's been 3 months and most don't even have hind legs. If they don't mature and leave before it snows, they won't survive. The hope is that since there is no algae for them to eat, this will help them mature and go on their normal way. They eat most of it quickly, but don't seem to like the white flakes (fortunately, there are only a few of the white ones). Some of the flakes will sink if not eaten in several minutes, which is okay since tadpoles will eat it from the bottom as well as floating food.

Price Increase

why did the price of this product go from $3,29 in April 21 to $8.99 now? seems a bit extreme of an increase!

Fish love these

My pond goldfish prefer the flakes to anything else. It's a good food for the baby fish because the adults get the stick food so fast!

Great food!

This floating food is perfect for our baby koi. The big ones crowd them out.

Koi pigs!!

My koi love this food. I like to feed them off my finger by wetting it and pressing it into the food flakes. They suck on my finger like it's a baby bottle. I then sprinkle some in the pond and they don't stop untill it's all gone. I nick named them koi pigs!!!

Happy Fish

I have some river creatures in an aquarium I just got for the river creatures that I catch at the river down the street. They love it and it seems to keep them healthy. The only thing is that it does stink a little.
