What is the diameter of the plastic tube?

The vinyl tubing is ½ an inch in diameter. The rigid tube is around 1.5 inches.

Perfect for my 12 gallon nano tank

This is the Goldilocks of nano tank cleaners. Not too strong, not too weak, just right. My tank sits on top of a 3ft stand. I use a 5gallon bucket to catch the water

This is the Goldilocks of nano tank cleaners. Not too strong, not too weak, just right. My tank sits on top of a 3ft stand. I use a 5gallon bucket to catch the water. The siphon head is short but my tank is 12in by 10in so it was exactly the right length. The siphon is strong but manageable and the hose is long enough to stay in the bucket with no worries about it accidentally coming out. The hand pump makes getting things started so easy! No more accidental tank water ingestion! I have several well established plants and I cleaned around them without any issue. I would NOT recommend this specific vacuum for any tank over 20g. However, if you are looking for a gravel vacuum that is just right this is the one for you.

High Quality Item

Not cheap construction. Should be good for years to come. Spend the few extra dollars and buy this siphon. It's worth it.

Worst gravel siphon

Worst gravel siphon you can buy. It is so small it won't even clean a 5 gallon fish tank correctly. I would not suggest this siphon to anyone. Waste of money.
